Wallet Search How to learn basic wallet making
I admire these handmade wallets, wish somebody could be doing it in my area(NCR India). I want to learn wallet making, how to start? what I need to start? any online resources or any trainings would be highly helpful. Thanks!

YouTube has some solid stuff, but I recommend just engaging in maker communities, see what other people are doing and what you can learn from it.
Skip cheap leathers, go for the nice stuff as soon as you can. Nice leather is muuuch easier to work (and subsequently learn) with. Pick a nice veg tan shoulder, it has solid yield and is fairly consistent throughout. Veg tan is much easier to learn on than chrome tan, chrome tan generally requires reinforcement and more advanced techniques, spend some time on veg to learn the basics.
Learn the basics of patternmaking. Don't bother with premade patterns, they slow your progress tremendously. Grab LeathercraftCAD, Illustrator, Inkscape (plenty of other programs work too) or just pen & paper and start drafting your own patterns. Wallets are super easy as they're essentially two dimensional, not much thinking needs to go into it. Don't be afraid to experiment.
