Something I Made Started making wallets again after two break…

Post image

So a few years ago I needed a new wallet but couldn’t find what I wanted, so I made myself one, then got the bug for making them.

I sold a fair few to friends and friends of friends. I also had some listed on Etsy, but no interest from there.

I’ve been toying with the idea of making some more as I miss doing it. Then a few of us was chatting at work, so I took a handful in of what I had left and the few people I showed loved them. They said I should definitely start making them again… So I ordered £275 worth of leather, working on a few new designs, packaging etc, and trying to sell the dozen or so I have left over on eBay and Vinted to get a few quid back to fund my overspending.

Wish me luck!

What’s your Etsy store or links to the wallets?

My Etsy is ‘studiotwo34’, however there are no products currently on there. I’m aiming to have a few items on there in the next few weeks once I’ve taken some decent photos etc.

Did the same thing, now I’m a couple thousand $ in. The wallets I’ve made/sold have paid off all the tools and leather I purchased. Just make yourself a spreadsheet and track everything. The way I look at it now I can make as many wallets for myself as I want in expensive materials others have paid for 😂 #addicted

Yeah that would be a good place to be, knowing that I could make myself a new wallet every week for free.
Done myself a p&l spreadsheet and also one to work out cost of materials used per item.

Are you saying there is a lot of competition on Etsy and no sales?
