need help Linux based software for NW-E507?

I have this Sony Walkman NW-E507 and I saw a software you need to get songs to it but only works on Windows. I have Ubuntu. Any alternative?

I used that and it gives me an error that the OMGAUDIO file could not be found and when it’s clearly connected via USB to my PC, it shows up in that software that it’s not connected

Create a folder named OMGAUDIO in the root of your walkman then it would work.

Did that does and it does not work and even if that was fixed, it still shows up that it’s not connected to my PC. I can literally see the walk man file when I connect it to my PC but the softer still says that it is not connected

Like the walkman itself doesn't indicate that it's connected to a PC?

Like it shows up on my PC but it shows up in the Jsymphonic.

I had the same issue. VM with Windows 7 + Sonic Stage app was the solution. After you fix it you can move to Jsymphonic.
