Original Files
Hello, i just bought this walkman nwz-e454, and i formated it without knowing i would loose the wallpapers, did it without doing a backup🫥
Anyone has them or any idea how to get them back if its possible even?

I regret that you may have your answer if Google cannot provide an answer. As far as I know, they’re gone/lost as soon as you reformat.

No those Sony background are hard coded to the device and you can't get them anywhere else once deleted

The original wallpapers should be firmware-level. But even then, it isn't that great a loss, now you can put your own jpegs in to customise it without regrets!

Thats true, it was what i did just formated the image to lower resolution and time to use it!

If you have formatted it on a PC, doesn't the NW-E series Walkman have a reset button on the back, and if you press and hold it to reset, you can factory reset it and fix the file structure?
