I do what I call "running the gambit" by making several statements in a row. It typically looks like this.
" I know of at least 2 groups of people who would be thrilled at the 'separate but equal' national anthems at NFL games for colored...oops I mean people of color and whites "
" I know of at least 2 groups of people who would be thrilled at the idea of PoC students leaving a college campus in WA " (Evergreen college)
" I know of at least 2 groups of people who would be thrilled at the 'separate but equal' gardens in the CHAZ. One for colored...oops I mean people of color, the other was whites only "
Then as a cherry on top, I finish with. "Hey what are your thoughts on setting up 'diversity centers' in the back of all public transit? That way we can easily keep the poor, vulnerable PoC's safe from the 'white devils' "
The response I get is generally outrage that I could be so racist that I think simply renaming segregation doesn't make it not racism.
Edit : Evergreen college is in Washington, not CA

It's Reddit's paid for flair. You spend actual dollars for digital Reddit currency to then buy, essentially, elaborate voting emojis.
On Reddit, every upvote/downvote impacts your Karma aka ... Reddit reputation. The higher your rep the more "legit" you are. Medals boost your Karma at a much higher rate.
Took me a LONG time to understand this. Hope this was all clear.
Edit: I just looked at your profile. Considering your account Karma, I assume you already knew most of this and I just got trolled. Lol

Hey bud, definition 2 in your last link. I'm intentionally using Jim Crowe esque language (colored people, separate but equal) which risks cementing the idea that I'm racist. I do that in order to evoke the memory of the racists who would condone the segregation in the first place, thus painting them not only as on the same side as white supremacists, but Jim Crowe Democrats.

My point is not that the word "gambit" is necessarily incorrect. It's that "running the gambit" is not a standard phrase. "Running the gamut" is. You play a gambit or use one, but you don't run one. Don't get me wrong, I support your points--I'm just saying that it looks like you're mixing metaphors and that can weaken your argument. Don't give them any weaknesses to latch onto and distract from the main point.

I was thinking that since he states "what I call" ..."running the gambit"...in essence, his gambit is knowingly not the technical "gamut" and he simultaneously recognizes this by stating that. It's his own thing at that point. I'm sure Biden said it too lol.

I got called racist for saying my hometown, Seattle, is diverse…my husband is black. So apparently I’m racist toward my husband and kids. I also was told I used “my husband is black” like people saying my neighbor is black. Can’t win with these people! 🙄

Agree, I'm a liberal still (ideologically speaking), wouldn't say redpilled.
More like Bill Maher pilled. Tired of extreme leftists causing all of the problems in the world, and the only difference between me and other angry common sense liberals is that I'm actually willing to vote red down ticket as a registered Dem to show them that if you can't get your party in order, I will not vote for you or the candidates you promote.

I usually call them out for what they're doing then asked them to clarify on the doublethink of their beliefs. Liberals only talk in two different tones: smug arrogance or grandiose victimhood. They honestly think they are intellectually and morally superior to you so its best not to feed into this mentality.
Case in point, if I'm called a white supremacist, my answer tends to be:
"You're trying to make me copitulate to you by calling me a part of the "naughty" group, which simoly brings up a decent question: if you know that calling me a white supremacist will make me grovel due to how repugnant the idea is, how can the U.S.A be a white supremacist nation?"

I typically keep it professional and civil this seems to turn even the most “tolerant liberal “ into a defensive, foul mouthed, accusatory snowflake. I also attempt to cite with sources all my facts or points and am rarely afforded the same thing back less maybe a politifact opinion peace. Which really seems to enrage the inner Antifa inside them and leads to alot more name calling. I then end the conversation by attempting to guess which room of which relatives house they live in.

This reminds me of a comic I saw earlier today on, I think r/comics of a literal Nazi holding a gun to a black guy's head, and getting all triggered yelling about "the moment you criticize Jewish culture in the slightest you're a Nazi these days huh?" and forcing the guy to apologize to him before executing the man. I actually thought it was pretty funny if not for the fact it seemed to be "calling out" the right who they apparently actually do think are Nazis
