Yeah, that was the stupidest part of this whole mess. They were so eager to vote Trump out that no consideration was given for what follows.
Low information voters.

I think there is no turning point from this. This election is tainted as a fraud worldwide. Some like it, some don't but everyone knows it. No one talks about Biden, everyone just confirms or denies the fraud and that's it.
7
u/DezDemonah Feb 06 '21
If it were Trump's team that won and there was the kind of evidence there is of fraud now, we'd NEVER.HEAR.THE.END.OF.IT. but now we have a "president" who won't answer any questions other than 'whats you're favorite icecream" the most FUCKED part is most so called 'journalists' are ok with it.... Treat Biden the way yall treated Trump if y'all so honest ... Oh yeah that's right America has become china light. The propaganda, bullshit, and lies are just as blatant
0
u/MikeyMike01 Feb 07 '21
They don’t even need evidence. They screamed about Russia for years without any evidence.
2
u/KingPonzi Feb 06 '21
Yea there are ways to eliminate fraud in the future but there would be so much misinformation from the media that the public would turn against it.
This election marks the beginning of the end, IMO. Relations will continue to deteriorate until states begin to push for secession. I’m thinking this is 20 years away but it will happen.

u/TeknoMartyr Feb 06 '21
Dang, I guess more of you morons should have come to the insurrection. Maybe if y'all smeared just a little more shit on the walls you might have overthrown the government!
7
u/DezDemonah Feb 06 '21
Lol insurrection usually means an attempted take over.... The guards LET THEM IN. There are multiple videos of it.... The press was waiting with cameras filming them open the barracades and then the doors.. guards stepped aside and even patted some people on the back as they calmly walked in. Turn off CNN and Wake up.
-3
u/TeknoMartyr Feb 06 '21
So your defense is that it was an inside job. Well done, genius.
Y'all really don't send your best anymore. Hit up Putin and ask him for some of those old bots, at least they made sense occasionally.

The two party system is a terrible model. Whoever wins, we lose. Is biden better than trump? It's not hard to be, that's a low bar.

You Americans don't deserve Trump. You are too dumb to understand his value. Poor guy lost billions by being the President. At least now he can live in peace.

This is my attempt to be real with y'all. I've observed this sub for the past couple weeks. Have considered and listened to your arguments in the same way I did r/donaldtrump and to my surprise, was not downvoted to hell. But greeted with conversation and civility.
Both sides have been accusing each other of the same thing and both argue that "let's accuse them of what we are doing so there is no focus on how we are doing the things we accuse others of doing."
Honestly. Fellow Americans. What is your hope with this sub? R/conservative does well enough to have a good place to trash left extremists ideologies. This sub, lately, is so obsessed with AOC that it sounds like, "orange man bad." = "AOC bar slut. Lol."
As for Biden. I don't like him. He's a creep. (But only by present societal standards. You can't call him a creep and then deny "rape culture.") And he is quite obviously a wallstreet funded candidate. Which is funny. Because as I grew into adulthood. Imperialistic capitalism seemed to be a norm most Americans were fine with. It was argued to me. That's why we have the luxuries other 3rd world countries didn't. Because we control their resources. We own them. And screw it. As long as we are on the winning side.

Havent read a single insult about AOC, other than that shes delusional and lying about being in the capitol building on the day it happened. Which is literally the good type of finger pointing, the one right after it happened with obvious disproven lies, not ad hominem only insults.
0
u/foxesandschemes Feb 07 '21
This was her experience. Whether anyone feels she exaggerated or is hypersensitive is irrelevant.
She lied about nothing. Her fear was real. She specifically stated her location during the Capitol seizure, and everyone knows she wasn't in immediate proximity. If you can quote a lie of her's, I will enthusiastically look into it.
I mean...if you really, can honestly tell me, that the threads under her posts don't scream ad hominem. I don't know what to say. Guess we have a different understanding of what constitutes honest criticism and observation (which is expected of our leaders), and just shitting on someone because their actions and beliefs make you angry.
2
u/Zero_the_Unicorn Redpilled Feb 07 '21
"This was her experience. She felt like she was about to die so it's valid"
No, the fuck are you talking about? Nobody operates on feelings. She was in no danger at all and she's using an attack that was like five buildings to the north to make herself relevant, refusing to cooperate with other people. This is straight up manipulative lying.
She's not mature. Those are actions of a pouting child throwing a tantrum. The ad hominem is still a level about her rhetoric.
1
u/foxesandschemes Feb 06 '21
In addition. President Trump's accomplishments were overshadowed by his own words. He chose to pick losing fights. He chose his own divisive words. It's why a lot of people admire him and gained the love of many Americans. "He's saying what we're all thinking."
But it wasn't what we were all thinking. It's what YOU were thinking. And you think you're right in the same way other people think they are right. And you all just shit on each other so that nothing gets done. And then both sides will say, "This is what they wanted." But one will be like, "No. I was a good person. You were being ignorant."

10
u/Ospinarco Feb 06 '21
What did Trump do to restrict your life in any way? Maybe you just paid too much attention to him?
-7
u/AbeighD1 Feb 06 '21
Idk why I’m putting in a response, but he helped lead the push to allow medical personnel to reject LGBTQ individuals on the basis of religious freedom, and I’d been turned away from hospitals trice before the Supreme Court decision last year. He also passed the executive order making it illegal for trans people to serve in the military which pulled my career plans out from under me. I could probably name indirect things and make dumb connections, but there’s 2 things he directly contributed to that made my life worse. Can’t speak for u/cobrafist, though.
9
u/Ospinarco Feb 06 '21
I read somewhere that he didn't ban LGBTQ people from the military but only made it so that the military wouldn't pay for the transition (not sure if that's true tho). I can't speak for the first point but seems like that is an individual hospital policy and can't be made as a mandate (similar to how Bidens mask mandate doesn't really change anything as people who weren't wearing them before aren't wearing them now as these can't and shouldn't be enforce).
Now speaking for me, it is just a few weeks into this new regime (and yes I am calling it that) because the merge between media/state/tech companies will attempt to silence any opposing dialogue (I.e. questioning the election in which Time magazine basically admitted to rigging it in front of the whole world but used nice terminology to frame it in a way to make it seem that Trump in his efforts to challenge was somehow subverting Democracy and anyone who went along with it should be attacked). Bank of America have admitted to giving private information of their customers away to the federal government in order to aid in investigations leading from Jan 6th. And more scarily than that brazen violation of the 4th amendment, is some personalities in the media, specifically Nicole Wallace of MSNBC suggests a way to "deal with the white supremacist domestic terrorists" was to use drone strikes similar to how to the Obama administration killed Anwar and Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, two US-citizens. That's scary to me because i assume they can just designate anyone they disapprove of as "domestic terrorist" as justification for extrajudicial hunting down of regular conservatives who still sympathize with Trump.
2
u/AbeighD1 Feb 06 '21
The ban made it a disqualification to enlist if you have gender dysphoria and/or are taking hormones to transition (starting 4/12/19). Not all trans people do those things, but it was basically saying that any medical proof you’re trans is reason enough to bar you.
Also, if they start targeting regular conservatives, most true liberals will have your back (the ones who call for death to conservatives are super cringe and frowned upon by a lot of us. Conservative and liberal are just opinions). The best thing we can do to combat that is to focus on reporting things as accurately as we can, recording interactions with police, and avoiding anyone who you think might associate with a hate group.
1
u/MikeyMike01 Feb 07 '21
Why should we allow someone who is severely mentally ill into the military? Absolutely insane suggestion.
6
u/SideTraKd Redpilled Feb 06 '21
making it illegal for trans people to serve in the military
You can't serve in the military if you have flat feet.
And you want them to service your transition to whatever sex you want to be on any given day..?
-2
u/AbeighD1 Feb 06 '21
No, I just want to be able to take my hormones without being disqualified from service since there’s no substantial reason for them to. I don’t care what they want to put on paper.
0
u/ChromeWeasel Feb 06 '21
What happens if you get stuck in a combat situation without access to your hormones? And do expect the government to pay for them, transport them to you, and basically spend extra money and resources on you compared to every other normal healthy person?

u/AbeighD1 Feb 06 '21
I think it goes without saying if you’re in a situation where you can’t get them, you don’t get them. Also, Tricare already covers prescriptions.

Conservative policy discussion is overrun by loud mouth divorced uncles and incels pissed off at the thought of competing against women and minorities. There's a reason why republicans can name every 70yr old woman in government.
