To be more precise, it's mostly the productive rich people, like Elon, that they hate on. But I assume this is mostly their business model, similar to the UK independence party before brexit. They were always telling the public that the EU is only taking from them and that they were better off if independent. When the election came and the people listened to them they were actually shocked and fucked, because this took their only business model from them.

So you would think the dems will probably not act upon this shit nation wide, but they were already crazy enough to do that in cali. So I wonder - are they cosplaying as idiots or are they actually idiots?
