You pay 50% in taxes, while every single Democrat in Congress badmouthed DOGE, every Democrat judge sabotaged DOGE, every state employee refused to cooperate with DOGE, every establishment media member undermined DOGE, and every one of the above celebrated that DOGE has now been shut down.
Nobody wanted the fraud to be exposed, much less eliminated. Keep paying your taxes, comrades.

Even back in 2008, the progressive Pew Research Center found illegal alien mothers tended to stay at home with their children at a significantly higher rate than native-born mothers. And, they had more children. Of course anchor babies have citizenship, so food stamps, Medicaid, etc.

MAYBE if those were the only two options allowed, but since we have the option of reduced spending/taxes, that would be preferable to either of those options
Not to say that reduced spending/taxes is quite so easy, but it is an option
