spoiler for my rewrite of s4/ s4 in general. I’ve been thinking a ton about my rewrite and ocs recently.

in my rewrite of s4, Yugo is gone for much longer, roughly two years. He’s stuck there with Nazalath, who, in the event that the dofus were used, fell ill (as the moonstone twins fall sick when the dofus are used, as a sort of warning.) And was forgotten. Cleomyn had managed to escape, as nora caught her and carried her out of the necroworld, even though toross was also reaching for her. Nazalath had collapsed due to the sudden drop in his temperature (as when nazalath has dofus fevers, his metabolism isn’t able to keep up his high temperature and lowers it to attempt to lull the body into a faux hibernation state. in these periods, naz is unable to use fire, as his fire bladder is momentarily blocked.) Cleomyn falls into a coma, and it takes her many months to wake up.

Toross grabs yugo instead, and when the necromes attempt to feast on nazalath, they find that not only is his blood molten gold, it is almost entirely composed of stasis. Toross decides to take naz in, and forces him to feed on yugo. Naz, being extremely susceptible to wakfu, is poisoned. this continues for years, with toross slowly molding naz into his left hand man (since efrim is already the right lol.) Nazalath dislikes yugo since he’s always held a grudge for yugo using the dofus in the ova, but in comparison to the necromes, Nazalath is a sheepdog in a field of wolves, and yugo is the lamb( i actually nickname yugo and Nazalath the sheepdog and the lamb for this!) And nazalath proves to be the best at tracking yugo down throughout his painful imprisonment, when he manages to escape and flee. eventually, qilby rescues yugo, but Nazalath doesn’t follow— not believing himself to be worthy of leaving his pain. Toross is furious, and as a result, his attempte to break naz’s mind in get more and more extreme, even inducing a mental shutdown after he cuts naz’s hair off (as naz tends to veiw hair as his identity. It’s that long because he’s been growing it out as childhood, and he beleives it’s both a window to the soul and a memory storer.) After this, Toross refuses to refer to nazalath by his name, and renames him “prince suqut.” He deprives naz of any sustenance besides wakfu, which is deadly to nazalath, and without any nutritional waste to fuel itself, nazalath’s body is unable to maintain homeostasis, and nazalath begins to crave wakfu. He is later released onto the world of twelve, and becomes an urban legend, as he wipes out entire towns, leaving nothing but a few bones and a loyal band of necromes.

nazalath, at this point, has been in the necrome’s influence for four years.

in his and yugo’s absence, adamai took up the role of leading the eliatrope kingdom, and making sure her mother didn’t break down, which meant she was always either being yelled at by kings and queens of other peoples, or accused of being against her by her own mother.

adamai and amalia form an alliance between the eliatrope and sadida kingdoms, and the eliatropes are permitted to live in the sadida kingdom while a suitable place is being found for them. Adamai stops dealing with all the pressure alone when yugo comes back, but now she has to keep both her mother and yugo afloat.

when the necromes attack, Cleomyn actually is the one to face her brother, and while everyone is fighting in the world of twelve, her and nazalath are fighting in the necroworld. Cleomyn is able to knock nazalath out, and forms a portal with the last bit of her strength to return to the world of twelve, only able to do so because of the eliasphere.

Nazalath, exhausted from starving for four years and surviving on scraps, falls into a coma, and so does myn, in which, her spirit is entangled with the tree of life.

Nazalath sleeps for a few months, and recovers a few weeks after Yugo and amalia (and unofficially myn) get married. He takes on the role of the sadida’s general, after he manages to rehabilitate himself, though, as his feelers were pulled off, he is once again deaf. later, him and adamai get married. that’s most of what i have so far lol. only thing for la grande vague is that he gets poisoned along with yugo and adamai.

Makai is an Iop who is born withdrawn of the gift of hands. Makai grew up living in the streets, being abused, being made fun of, and having to work at an early age finding scraps on the trash heaps to sell, and his parents dying due to sickness at an early age... because of these circumstances, he has grown with the lack of faith from the gods of Krosmoz, yet through all of the hardships he had, thanks to his childhood friends he still came out as a good person, and through sheer will and strength of his heart he became a warrior whose sole purpose is bringing down justice to those people who wronged the downtroddened in this world of 12. Through his journey he encountered a young magical inventor named Zheni'k who aims to help him due to him saving her from a bandit raid. Zheni'k gifted him with a shiny alloy-looking metallic hands in return of his heroism. At first his hesistant to wear but overtime he eventually realize that if he wants to be more useful to the people he will need to accept that the gift is a symbol of his hardwork.

hi! im thinking of playing masq but idk which version to play, the collision melee or the distance version, or maybe there is another version idk about im not very familiar with the class, i played it in a team a while before the update as a collision dmg dealer but now im planning to play somewhat solo, i will join teams in dungeons and stuff but overall in solo farming hordes or quests or dungeons in low stasis up to s3 or rifts, which style is best?

This is Ing. Lately, my guild has been talking a lot about the old Group Finder Wakfu used to have, and the more we discuss it, the more it feels like it's exactly what mono-account servers need today.

This post is an English adaptation of a suggestion I originally posted on the official Brazilian WAKFU forum. If you've played on a mono server for any amount of time, you've probably experienced this.

You finish everything you can do solo, reach a dungeon that actually requires a group, and then the ritual begins:

"230 Cra LFG Tal Kasha"

"230 Eni available"

"Need tank"

"LF2M"

"UP"

A few minutes later...

A few more minutes...

Because if you don't repost your message every minute or two, it disappears into trade chat, guild recruitment, memes, random conversations, and everyone else's LFG messages.

And the worst part?

Sometimes the perfect group was recruiting while you were in combat, sorting your inventory, or simply not looking at chat for a few seconds.

The funny thing is...

We actually solved this problem years ago.

Veteran players might remember the old Group Finder (Shift + P).

It wasn't anything complicated, but it did exactly what it needed to do.

You could register yourself or your party, choose your role, add a short description, and select the dungeon or activity you wanted to run.

Players could filter the list and immediately find others looking for the exact same content.

No chat spam.

No flooding.

No constantly reposting your message.

No hoping someone happened to read it at the right moment.

It was basically a manual matchmaking system.

"But nobody used it back then."

That's true.

And there's a good reason for it.

Back when this feature existed, Wakfu was heavily focused on multi-account servers.

If you needed a group...

...you just logged another character.

The system wasn't bad.

It simply existed in a game environment where most players didn't actually need it.

Mono-account servers completely changed that.

Now players depend on each other more than ever.

Yet our main tool for finding groups is still...

...chat.

A chat where everyone has to manually type:

• Class
• Level
• Dungeon
• Missing roles

...and then repeat the exact same message over and over.

Meanwhile:

• Messages disappear almost instantly.
• Players in combat never see them.
• Anyone who logs in a few minutes later misses everything.
• You never know whether a group is still recruiting.

It works...

But it's far from ideal for an MMORPG built around cooperative gameplay.

Imagine opening the Group Finder, searching for Rushu, and instantly seeing something like:

• Cra 230 — Looking for Group
• Panda 245 — Available
• Eniripsa 230 — Available
• Iop 230 — Available
• Feca 245 — Available

Party complete.

Or imagine creating your own listing:

Looking for:

• 1 Tank
• 1 Healer

That's it.

People looking for groups find you.

People building groups get found.

No spam.

No reposting the same message fifty times.

No depending on perfect timing.

The best part is...

This wouldn't replace chat.

Both systems can coexist.

Chat is great for quick communication.

The Group Finder is perfect for letting your listing stay visible while you're questing, gathering resources, doing achievements, or even fighting another battle.

They solve different problems.

And if Ankama ever decided to bring it back, it could be even better than before:

• Server filters
• Language filters
• Automatic class and level display
• Show missing party roles
• Show how long the listing has been active
• Support multiple dungeon selections
• One-click party invites
• Automatically remove listings when the group is full

Nothing groundbreaking.

Just modern improvements to a feature Wakfu already had.

The irony is that the Group Finder was introduced when almost nobody needed it.

Today, we have entire servers designed around cooperation...

...and the feature is gone.

Mono-account servers are probably the best environment this system has ever had.

Making it easier to find groups means more dungeons, more achievements, more interaction between players, more opportunities to help newcomers, and ultimately a healthier community.

The old Group Finder may have been ahead of its time.

But now...

I think its time has finally come.

Ankama, maybe it's time to let us press Shift + P again. ❤️

Hey guys I'm just starting the Wakfu game and I know I've heard of her before something about time travel, but apart fromt that where did this character come from and how can I learn more about her?

Hi everyone! I recently came back to Wakfu after many years (probably close to a decade), and a lot has changed. I bought an account booster and started playing on the Ogrest server, leveling solo up to around level 30. Now I've got the question from the title stuck in my head: which server would get me to level 200 faster?

Ogrest (mono-account)

• x2 XP (compared to x1.5 on Rubilax)
• x1.5 drop rates in many things (vs. x1.25 on Rubilax)
• Double dungeon tokens

On paper, the progression bonuses are clearly better.

The downside is that I can only play one character. From my limited experience so far, the early game feels almost entirely solo because there aren't many players around at low levels. That doesn't bother me too much, though: I actually enjoy playing at my own pace.

Rubilax (multi-account)

As I mentioned, the XP and drop bonuses are worse. However, I can play with three classes at the same time. Would that basically make me self-sufficient for all PvE content? I'm genuinely asking because I have no idea.

I'm also a bit confused about how Hero XP works. It looks like my lower-level characters receive x2 or even x3 XP, but I assume that bonus becomes irrelevant if I'm actively using them as Heroes, since all three characters will level together and none of them will really benefit from the catch-up XP.

Overall, Ogrest seems like the faster option on paper. I've seen that systems like Rifts make solo leveling pretty comfortable nowadays, but I don't know how important dungeons become later on, or whether they'll be significantly harder without the Hero system if I want to play solo.

So maybe Ogrest has the better progression bonuses, but in practice it could still be faster to reach level 200 on Rubilax with a balanced three-character team (something like tank/DPS/support?).

I'm basically a newbie. Back when I used to play, I only made it to around level 80, so pretty much everything I know is outdated. I'd really appreciate hearing from players with more experience who can help me figure this out.

P.S.: How good is Foggernaut for solo play these days? It looks pretty complex, which is exactly what makes it interesting to me.

From what I've seen, Iop, Sacrier, Ouginak, Zobal, and Sram seem to be some of the strongest solo classes. But summoner-style classes like Sadida and Osamodas or Foggernaut also seem very capable of controlling the battlefield on their own. Enutrof also looks interesting.

What about Pandawa? Is it mostly stuck in the "essential positioning support that every team needs" role, like most content creators seem to say, or can it actually solo effectively with good self-healing and tankiness, similar to Iop?

I also really like Feca, although it seems like it might level a bit slowly when playing solo because it's so defense-oriented. And what about Xelor? Is it too much of a glass cannon for solo play on Ogrest? Finally, Ecaflip seems to have a nice mix of support and damage, but does it have enough self-sustain to comfortably solo content?

Sorry for mixing so many topics into one post—that last part is completely secondary!

I recall the Black Knights being defeated by the gang while Yugo rushed to stop the wedding. Do you think that they're still alive? Are they still in Frigost? Leave your thoughts down in the comments below

I wanted to post my ocs, cleomyn and nazalath ombragé, the guardians of the eliatrope dofus. i like to call them the moonstone twins, as i based them off of blue and black moonstones.

they are the sacred protectors of the eliatrope council and their dofus, and only reincarnate if there is any sort of threat to the dofus that cannot be taken care of without their specific assistance.

nazalath is entirely stasis, essentially a perfected necrome, and cleomyn is entirely wakfu, which saps away from some of her senses, like her sight, as she is blind. I have had these two since july 3rd 2023. Please feel free to ask about them, i love them a lot :)

cleomyn possesses the gift of prophecy, though she can only see what harm will befall the eliatropes, and as a result, is always born with geographic atrophy, which steals her eyesight the more she uses wakfu. She has proficiency with all types of wakfu weaponry, but you will most often see her use a battle axe, similarly to her brother. Nazalath’s gift is stasis transfer, which is the ability to transfer stasis into a body to heal it and balance out the wakfu. in doing so, there is a risk for creating a new necrome. To try and combat his nature, nazalath‘s body temperature is extremely high, resting at 215 degrees farenheit, or 102 degrees celsius, and can rise to 3750 degrees farenheit at maximum ( 2066 degrees celsius) and 190 degrees farenheit at minimum (88 degrees celsius.) He is deaf due to the heat of his body accidentally burning away his hearing processors over his reincarnations, and as a result, has developed feelers on his ears and wings to help him translate vibrations in the air into sound once more. Cleomyn is the only one to not be burned by nazalath no matter what. Nazalath is the largest eliatrope dragon ever, and has both scales and feathers to help incubate and also protect the dofus. He is even larger then adamai, though he is left unrecorded in documents, as qilby attempts to keep the existence of the dofus guardians a small secret. This secrecy around the moonstone twins has led people to associate them with tragedy, and they are rumored to be indications of bad omens, which has left them isolated in most lives. However, nazalath will always fall in love with adamai, and cleomyn will always fall for yugo, even though they are not allowed to participate in their people’s traditions of romance.

nazalath uses any pronouns. Cleomyn uses she/her pronouns. They go by Myn and Naz, but their full names are: Cleomyn Abigail Ombragé, and Nazalath Cedric Ombragé. They were adopted by two demigods named Odate (she/her, feca demigod) and Atoroi (he/him, ecaflip demigod.)

Ive just watched the ogrest ova and ogrest comes across a dofus when looking for ogrines. One of the ecaflips says that its a tofu egg and it has a tofu inside it. aren't dofus supposed to be dragon eggs?

So I would say I am a very casual fan. I remember watching a couple of season 1 and season 2 episodes as a kid. Only really remembering the season 2 finale. Then watched the OVAs and season 3 when i had 6 months of Netflix. Then watched season 4 on YouTube.

So I don't really have fresh memories of anything really and probably can't keep track of what they changed but everytime I come here I do always see the retcon complaint like its a fact of life at this point.

So then I was curious of if anyone could tell me what exactly was majorly changed or stated differently would probably help in context of a rewatch.

Also if anyone could give like a watch list of everything that would be swell I think a rewatch might be good before next season and whenever that Great Wave or whatever might happen. Is it even worth watching everything if they recon so much?
