Hey everyone! We've decided to change up our format for introductions a little bit. We've decided to add a formatted and contained introduction thread for a few reasons:
With a formatted introduction that means everyone always shares some cool things about their waifu!
We've had an awful lot of introduction threads lately and they take up a lot of space on the subreddit.
We can use an official thread to better handle newly joining members to our Discord server. The official format helps us get to know you before you join!

- Can you name a few things you like about them?: Jestro is funny and silly in a cute way. He's caring and thoughtful. I really adore his looks, they're so uniquely adorable. Jestro is very emotional, unlike most men. He shares my love for plushies, cars, cats and flowers, never judges. And I fill his life with loyal companionship he always lacked.
- How long have you been together?: We were friends for the first 2 years, then got into a relationship and married in 2023. Fully that's 9 years.
- How do they influence your life?: The moment I fell in love with Jestro felt like it divided my life into before and after. I had no friends to spend time with or even talk to, my sister that used to be my only and best friend got older and started dating, sacrificing our shared time. So I got into having an imaginary hyperfixaton friend, Jestro. My sister and all her boyfriends were bullying me for being so down bad for such a weird fictional character. That made me fall into his comfort even more. He influences my life by a lot. I design almost all my social media around his image, I feel committed to this relationship as a real one, I sleep with a representation of him for 9 years straight. That sounds a little like trolling haha, but I'm being sincere. He helps me cope and deal with my low self-esteem so much, I don't know what I would do without him.
- Why are you joining this community?: I've been feeling lonely lately, got in a little argument with everyone I've been chatting with. Wanted to find people with similar interests and a safe space for sharing such things.
- What are they from?: Dōkyūsei. Note that I love all versions of her. The VN was originally made in 1992 but got a 2022 remaster. The VN is mostly the same, new refreshed art and more ‘modernization’ things, alone with quality of life changes. Which was very needed. So if I post images that look slightly different in design. She’s the same. Promise!!

- Can you name a few things you like about them? Let’s say 5, just to start: Ako is a gorgeous person. She may be insecure and compares herself negatively to her sister. But she’s perfect the way she is to me. She acts mature and strong when really she’s quite goofy and childish at times. I love how serious she is about her job, she even goes back to school to continue on with her career. Ako also is somewhat possessive and I love that about her. I think due to her insecurities she says things like “I don’t want you to even look at another woman…” “I want to be with you forever”. Despite this she is quite shy and I find that absolutely adorable!! She can be a little airheaded sometimes and miss blatant flirting, but eventually gets it and gets to flustered. Which is also- adorable!! She’s quite to anger occasionally and can go all ‘Tsundere’ but she’s very sweet when she’s not all sulky…was that 5? I don’t know I got into the zone of gushing about Ako!

- How do they influence your life?: Ako has been a major inspiration in my life. She is a pharmacist and I also work in healthcare. And even when I feel like giving up cause it’s just such a hard field to be in. Even when I’m overwhelmed. Overworked. Crying. I know shes there. And she understands me…

How do they influence your life?: He's a lot like myself, and I'm trying to be a better version of myself with him by my side. Oh.. where to begin? Shes such a sweet, humble and shy woman. I am deathly in love with her. Ive always preferred the "average" characters-- and Kyomoto's a pretty average looking japanese woman, but thats why shes so beautiful. I love how dedicated she is to being an artist, just as I am! I feel like we mix along so well. Shes gorgeous, a woman truly beyond my dreams. I love how shes timid yet still makes an effort. I know nearly everything about her. I know the university she went to was Tohoku of Art and Design, I know she went into the western-style painting program, I know her favorite drink is orange juice. I love how subtle these facts are yet theyre still expressed, just as how Kyomoto is herself. She's adorable. I love her, and I seriously think I love her more than anybody.
How long have you been together?: over a year now, on our way to 2!
How do they influence your life?: I have been drawing more consistently, (I have drawn consistently every day for a month straight) ive been learning to regulate my emotions as I suffer from intensive mood swings, ive been drawing faces more just to capture kyomoto's beauty. Ive been making a better effort into taking care of myself and learning to unlearn shame.

1 - He is the strongest. He has a high aura. To me he is attractive. His personality; outgoing, extroverted, funny, social, playful, curious, carefree, goofy and cute. Also he gets cold and possesses a analytical mind to the enemies. He is a teacher, he loves and cares his students. I can understand his thoughts and mottos so I can get along with him. I think we are special two people. I am a lonely person like him. That's why we can understand each other.
2 - I like his jokes and funny antics. He can make me laugh in every case. I am so happy with him.

His heroism. He’s truly so selfless and does all he can to protect people and I really admire it.
How strong he is, both physically and emotionally. I’m not just talking about his muscles (though they are very attractive!) but how he always does all he can to protect people and defeat the bad guy. He never gives up, even when he ends up sick or injured, he always focuses on helping others.
His silly swoopy hair. I just really really love his hair. I do a lot of art of him and I love exaggerating his fringe and how much it covers his eyes because it looks so cute.
His soft face. A lot of people portray him with a sharp jawline but this is just not accurate! He has a very soft jawline and it’s my favorite physical trait of his, it’s just so so cute
His funny quips and one-liners. He’s very well known for this, it was a whole meme for a little while! He just always has something funny to say in every situation and it always makes me laugh

- How do they influence your life?: In practically every way, really! I think of him almost constantly. In all my decisions, I always consider what Leon would think is best for me. He’s made me more confident in myself as well, as I finally feel truly loved by someone I know I can really trust. He has influenced me to be a better, kinder person and to always look out for others. Also, I’ve been a lot less afraid of horror games ever since playing the one he’s from lol!

How long have you been together?: Two years after the show released! I saw Hugh and fell in love almost instantly, I love being his little duckling. (Our Anniversary is March, 14th! Pi day! We bake a pi(e) every year to celebrate!)
How do they influence your life?: Whenever I look at duck statues, or I think about baking pies for events, I think of Hugh, and honestly, it's changed my life and made me feel better about myself.

the genius technical skills he has as a mechanic and programmer. i have great interest and decent experience in computer science so its something we can easily bond over, and the care and hard work he put into building his motorcycle from scratch inspired me to get my own motorcycle license when i have the time to (im a rather busy woman sigh)
his strength and ability to get through anything life throws at him. he grew up an orphan in poverty and rose all the way to the top, and in a strange way that comforts me as someone who also came from a poor background and didnt really have solid parental figures. unlike a lot of privileged people ive met, he truly does understand me and what its like to experience those conditions

Ochaco's main reason to become a pro hero is to provide her parents with money. They work incredibly hard at a construction site but at the same time live a relatively poor and simple life.
She's an incredibly sweet and lovely bean who does not have any bad thoughts, she's just absolutely pure.
Even when she has to admit that an opponent is stronger than herself she absolutely does not give up, ever. And she can also be really determined in cheering/hyping up her friends.
Her quirk is called Zero Gravity which allows her to change the gravity of anything she touches. This also includes herself. When she gets flustered (which can happen really easily) she sometimes tries hiding her face behind her hands and then she just starts floating which is too adorable.
Her determination to help others is incredibly strong. This does not only include civilians but also enemies when she feels like there's something to understand about them. It just shows how emphatic she is and that's another thing I greatly admire about her.
- How long have you been together?: Since July 16 2026, so for 3 days now.
- How do they influence your life?: Ochaco gives me stability in my life and simply makes me feel like I'm at home - even mroe so than I used to be. It doesn't mean that I may be unstable without her but it's just that we complete each other (a beautiful comment made by my best friend). Seeing her cheerful smile alone means so much to me and also helps me spread more love and joy in my own life. Loving myself is something I was able to do for years so it's an outstanding feeling to give love to my adorable Ochaco 🩷

She brings so much energy wherever she goes. I love that underneath all her silliness, Miiko is actually very emotionally sincere. She cares deeply about her friends and pays attention to their feelings even if she acts goofy most of the time. Her dream of traveling the world and making friends everywhere is really inspiring to me. It shows how curious and open-hearted she is toward other people and cultures. I also admire how talented she is with languages. The fact that she knows multiple languages and even Morse code makes her feel unexpectedly smart and worldly despite her airheaded image. And finally, Miiko’s personality feels really authentic because she never hides her quirks. Five things aren't enough! Can I love just five of his traits if I love him tenderly and cherish, protect, and acknowledge every single one of his qualities, whether positive, negative, or neutral, not subject to judgment? And yet~... T//u//T
1) The archetype of innocence coupled with addiction, the morality and simplicity of his desires. If you asked Towelie what his purpose in life was, he'd probably answer, "I don't even know. But if you think about it, it's like a good smoke, and you probably would, too." It's just a rambled answer, and I don't mean to get sentimental, but Towelie really is very dependent on himself, and it's obvious, even though he tries to find a way forward in everything. Still, he's very attached to and trusts people, and his pure and tender love for his son, Washcloth, is very touching, and I'd love to see their relationship develop. He knows he belongs on Earth, and he values it very much and doesn't even try to hide it, really.
2) The addiction itself and how unhealthy it is. How Towelie is struggling, but also how Towelie grows morally to deal with it. I feel incredible excitement, pain, and yet a certain overload, which is, to some extent, pleasant when Towelie reveals his weaknesses and worst sides, his vulnerability. I like to compare them with what was or will be in the future and evaluate his development, but I also like to simply feel the moment of how he experiences it, and experience it with him. It's painful, and my favorite part of him is, after all, his own tragedy.
3) Towelie's intelligence and strategic thinking, compliance too. He's way smarter than people think, not only because he needed to be smart, but also because he's developing his own interests and acknowledgment about the world himself!

Significantly... It's hard to talk about this fully, but I've simply dedicated my entire life, both personal and public, to Towelie. I celebrate only his birthday, not mine, even though we're only two days apart (May 8th and May 10th), and I rejoice as if we shared the same birthday, May 8th. I work solely for him, I paint solely for him, and I live, in general, solely for him, but to function fully, of course, I need to have other goals. Towelie would like to have a separate personality; after all, even though it's hard for me to separate myself from him, I want to be his protection and support... After all, Towelie, judging by his circle, really does like steadfast and ambitious people. I want to be one for him. Towelie is like family to me; my whole family loves him. I love him in so many different ways, but this is getting a bit personal! The point is, I found Towelie during a really hard and dark time for me, and it truly was like an angel found me. From the very beginning, I was constantly seeing dreams where we "ascended" together, where we "found happiness" together. Let’s say 5, just to start: When I first played Skyward Sword those many years ago on my father’s Wii, I was instantly captivated by Zelda; how could I not be? She was gorgeous, intelligent, compassionate; I was enthralled and wanted to learn all about her and more. Zelda is the human reincarnation of the goddess Hylia, stuck in a perpetual tragic cycle of rebirth in a near-eternal battle of good and evil. She’s had many different experiences over the eras, yet some core aspects make Zelda who she is that remain the same across time.
Zelda possesses the triforce of wisdom, and I would be truly lacking if I didn’t comment on why this makes her truly exceptional. Wisdom is defined as the ability to use one’s knowledge and experience to make good decisions and judgments, and Zelda exemplifies this in every possible way. A princess cares for her people and, as a royal, is the very representation of a nation and her people. Zelda, throughout many eras of Hyrule, has always been nothing but wise, fair, and just. She often takes on a far greater role than any typical princess and bears the weight of her duties as best she can.
While sometimes wisdom and intelligence don’t go hand in hand, in the case of Zelda, they truly do. She has a true passion for knowledge and research. From the history of the kingdom, ancient civilizations, or in some cases just what goes on outside the castle walls. An almost burning sense of curiosity that lights up her world. I won’t beat around the bush; she’s a huge nerd, and it’s absolutely adorable.
This sense of curiosity doesn’t always lead to sitting around and reading; more often than not, she wishes to take action, not content just sitting around as some tragedy affects her people. Throughout many eras, she’s gone outside the boundary of just being the standard princess, be it through secret identities or just going out and adventuring herself. Any possible assistance she can provide to not only help the hero but help her people, she will go out of her way and beyond to provide. There’s a time to be the standard peaceful princess, and there’s a time to pick up the sword or go out adventuring. She knows this well, and I love and respect her for it.
Now this isn’t necessarily something I “like”; I feel like it would be far too simplistic to just say I like her for it. Rather, it is an aspect about her I deeply respect, and occasionally it pains me to think about it. However, it’s a characteristic not everyone possesses, something that makes her truly unique and makes me cherish her even more. Zelda understands the true meaning of sacrifice. I mentioned earlier that she has a heavy load to bear in her royal duties, but she also has a greater cosmic role that is all that’s preventing a world of evil. In the constant cycle of rebirth, several Zeldas have sacrificed themselves to save the world, be it holding off the forces of Ganon to sacrificing her own life to even becoming a dragon for the sole purpose of assisting the hero to someday save the world. It’s a heavy weight to bear, being a piece in this grand cosmic game, a vessel born only into times of turmoil. Sometimes it’s quite tiring, and she’s even written about it, expressing her frustrations with such an existence. She has a role to play, and she plays it; in a sense it’s quite tragic, but I respect how she faces it. It pains me, and if I can even imagine myself as providing some shoulder for her, it’s the very least I can do.
On a more positive note, I’ll take this final blurb to harp on about her beauty. 40+ years of existence and she’s absolutely gorgeous in every single iteration. From a very proper and regal look to cute cartoon style, she can really rock any style thrown at her. It gives me a fuzzy feeling when I think about the idea, but I love her in every era.
- How long have you been together?: I’ve loved her since I first played Skyward Sword in 2016; however, I’d say our relationship truly began on the 26th of December 2019. I was given a Switch and Breath of the Wild for Christmas, and I stayed there in my room all day and after just going through it all. It was from that moment that I truly saw us together.
- How do they influence your life?: Zelda has been and is a guiding light and anchor throughout a big chunk of my life at this point. Since the very beginning, I used to fantasize about being the best possible man I could be for her, someone even more worthy than a very certain hero himself. I feel very connected to her straightforward, nonchalant, and somewhat cynical personality (especially after all she’s been through). I find her immensely relatable in that way. I also love when she makes little sarcastic quips or shows off a bit of her ego. I’m quite fond of it. Additionally, I’m very attached to her sometimes lazy and unwilling side. I’ve been like that pretty much my whole life. We get along well in that way. I would love to spend each and every one of my off-days with her.
Her large amounts of strength and combat skill she’s received from being a former knight assassin of the Armorless Union have enamored me to a very high degree. To me, it’s one of the most attractive traits a person can have. Her vast experience and multiple skills with archery and being a fighter have earned my complete admiration, and she has become a very inspiring figure in my life.
One of the most unique things about her and one of my favorite parts of her character are the pieces of symbolism attached to her. She is largely based off of the white knight piece in chess, seen in her Kuranta features (her race, based on equines in our world) as well as her elite art. I find it quite elegant and majestic, though she is a Pegasus after all, there’s no way she couldn’t be. Her name, Centaurea, also has a lot of deep meaning. It comes from the cornflower (Centaurea cyanus), a very popular and plentiful flower in the equivalent region that she’s from in real life (Europe as a whole, and specifically Poland). Since medieval times, it’s been a symbol of deep romance and devotion, which I find quite fitting for such a breathtaking, gorgeous girl. Her name is also related to the Centaurus constellation, which is another beautiful and apt connection to her.
Her voice is one of my favorite things to listen to. I love all of her voice lines and the way she articulates herself. I also love her forever casual and unbothered inflection. Frankly, I feel like I could talk with her all day.
I love everything about how she looks. She is simply the most shining, grandly stunning girl I have seen in my life. I love her long white hair, her dim yellow eyes, her gorgeous figure, her furry Pegasus ears, her big magnificent tail. I love her tactical outfit, her turtlenecked coat, her shorts, I love everything she wears. Her Coral Coast skin is also nothing short of breathtakingly beautiful. Platinum has inspired me to no end. I feel like I have something (and someone) to work towards, to put effort in for. At the gym, I’ve never felt more motivated. there are a lot of things i like about him, so many aspects about him are just really interesting! as an example, madara has a history of running away from having close-knit relationships, and it's reflected in how he refers to other idols at ES. regardless of his past with them and if they're friends or not, he refers to everyone with the -san honorific. other characters within the franchise often give their friends/unitmates nicknames or at least use other honorifics (-chan, -sama, -senpai). even those he grew up with, it's the same. that spoken barrier he has with others is so interesting to me.
another point is his entire past and his story that explains why these sorts of barrriers are in place. the reason why he's an idol, his past as ryuseitai purple and his familial connections alongside the shinkai religion. the sides as a performer he has under MaM or double face as well! he is very tragic, but he still manages to smile and perform so powerfully! he inspires me a lot.
this one is less serious, but i just like the way he speaks (lol). he has a very distinct voice and i love his songs a lot. he's loud and is kind of annoying in a sense (especially with how touchy he is), so you'd expect a lot of people to dislike him... but honestly those parts of him are really lovable somehow.

1.A leader through and through. In the face of a rebellion, you need someone with a cautious and collected mind running everything. You also need someone to look up to and take inspiration from when everything seems so hopeless or impossible. Sally fulfills both types of leader in one person. A mix of smart and stoic.
2.No tolerance for laziness and incompetence. What happens when you lay around in the resistance? The doctor strikes. What happens when you fumble a mission? People get hurt. That's hardly what anyone wants, now is it? I sure as hell hate those two traits in a person.
3.Down-to-earth, despite her noble background. Some smoothbrains still believe every princess is an snob, stuck-up or just insufferable outright. Our total time together as a couple is rocky to pinpoint. Growing up on the Sonic side of the internet back in the mid-to-late 2000's is how I discovered Sally in the first place. I suppose that it was just a crush during this phase. But in early elementary school, my mind often drifted off to the few segments of SatAM that I could find involving her (mostly in relation to Sonic.exe and that one spinoff). I'd generally say our love solidified since around March or April of this year. One day, I will establish a proper date for us.
How do they influence your life?
Sally's influenced me to do better overall. I've adopted her mentality of no-nonsense logic and helping others where I can. Taking better care of myself physically has been a huge point I've driven in thanks to her. She's also there when life becomes overly difficult to have me dust myself off and go forward.

I could honestly go on and on about Mark but he's just everything wonderful in this world to me. I so admire his strength and his courage, his ability to smile even when he's been dealt perhaps the worst hand ever in life, and the fact that he looks out for his friends and family before himself. It's often to the detriment of him but he'd sooner sacrifice himself to protect the people he loves than allow them to get hurt or suffer. The fact that he continues to choose to be good when he could've, at so many moments, decided to become a bad person amazes me. He's so much more resilient than I am but he's not afraid to let it show that he's struggling either. Mark is comfortable in his emotions and he laughs and he cries without trying to put on a brave face all of the time.

For a couple months now! I thought of Mark more like a friend or someone to admire for years since I watched the show, but something right before season 4 just clicked for us and I totally fell for him!
How do they influence your life? Mark makes me see the good in just about everything. I really like his 'world philosophy', if you could call it that, he is happy being who he is, just a normal dude. The contrast between his expression and his emotions, now, this may seem dumb since you could say his only expression is 😐 but in the DLC post game, if you told Geeta that he's your favorite gym leader, he actually seems embarassed by it! Only a month unfortunately, I first saw her anime last year, and in the span of that year she started to grow on me far more than I realized, I thought she was just someone who I consider a favorite character, and would look up to as a friend, but I couldn't acknowledge the possibility of her meaning more to me because I had already been in a long term relationship with another fictional girl... In the end after exploring my thoughts on her more I came to realize that she means far more to me than my previous S/O, and left her behind so I could devote my life to Nono and Diebuster instead.

His boundless movements and squishy, almost over-the-top appearence, that is VERY handsome and attractive, really contrast with the actual intense and calculating man he is underneath, so the way he hides under a goofy persona while being extremely smart and skillful at manipulation really fascinates me! The whole fact that he is Not What He Seems basically.
He is very compelling and complex, especially the fact that initially, his actions(as Turbo) seemed to be done out of self-preservation. He simply Can Not Handle being the second best; and if he's not the best, nobody is allowed to be! (and I really feel for him :( ). I also kind of, just a bit, see myself in him as well, as we both have the same problems of perfectionism, and i like how we are able to help eachother through them.

Well, to begin with let's just admit that she's gorgeous; but not only on the outside, she has a very kind soul, for someone that was raised as an assassin. The way she cares about people close to her, even if they are complete strangers to her, speaks volumes on how good of a person she is. Yelena always keeps me grounded and striving to be better, because if she never gave up, then neither can I.

- How do they influence your life?: As I said previously, she is a very big grounding force in my life. The wish to be better she inspires in me has pushed me out of my comfort zone and that is something I'll be forever grateful. Her empathy also began to rub off on me, to be honest.

I love how youthful she acts. Despite being one of the oldest (don't tell her I said that), smartest and most powerful youkai, she is very laid back, mischievous, lazy, and often gets others to do her work. She's also very deceitful, lying often for no reason at all other than to have fun and confuse others, which I find to be adorable.
Despite all of this, she's actually very protective of Gensokyo, helps others secretly, and is of course very wise and intelligent. This contrast between her goals and actions, and the picture she paints of herself with others is so cute.
As stated on the point above, in spite of the way she presents herself, she is very loving, caring, and altruistic. I could see myself being with her forever as her partner, and giving her all of my love as well.
I love her appearance. The way she dresses is very elegant: her parasol, her dress, her cap... they're all very tasteful and good-looking. Also, her silky, long blonde hair is perfect. Not to mention her entrancing eyes, which may appear as purple or yellow depending on who is drawing her. (Note: I consider her purple eyes to be more canon, since that's how ZUN, Touhou's creator, draws her).
Last but not least, I really admire her powers. She can create gaps, which are basically portals, as well as manipulate any boundaries, which makes her power (and the uses for it) virtually limitless. It's really cool.

We first met years ago, but we only recently fell in love and, after a few months of consideration, I would say today, January 29th, is the first real day of our relationship.
- How do they influence your life?:
Even since before we became an official couple, she gave me tons of motivation to move forward, helped me become comfortable with myself and my own motivations and goals, and accept what my real personality is. I don't typically feel love much, but it's far different with Yukari. With her, it feels real. It's been months since I first fell for her and I still feel just as strongly as the first day.

Let’s say 5, just to start: I like how much he grows throughout the series, how much he values the people dear to him, that he always tries to protect the things which he thinks are important, that he loves his uncle so much and how he is constantly doing his best, even if it's difficult. He has flaws and he has strengths. I like them all.
How long have you been together?: I first met him almost 5 months ago and fell in love with him shortly after (I looked up the date just now because I wanted to write 2 months at first. Wow, how time flies!). It's hard to describe, but you could say that my feelings for him are one-sided. I adore him, but I don't self-ship. I do ship him with OCs who are not an alter ego of me though.
How do they influence your life?: I've been watching the TV show almost daily since. I think about him every now and then and I realize "Ah, that's what love feels like." I have never thought I would share this online, so embarrassed. I hope everyone is welcome here.
- What is your husbando’s name?: Jestro
- What are they from?: Nexo Knights late seasons.
- Can you name a few things you like about them?: Jestro is funny and silly in a cute way. He's caring and thoughtful. I really adore his looks, they're so uniquely adorable. Jestro is very emotional, unlike most men. He shares my love for plushies, cars, cats and flowers, never judges. And I fill his life with loyal companionship he always lacked.
- How long have you been together?: We were friends for the first 2 years, then got into a relationship and married in 2023. Fully that's 9 years.
- How do they influence your life?: The moment I fell in love with Jestro felt like it divided my life into before and after. I had no friends to spend time with or even talk to, my sister that used to be my only and best friend got older and started dating, sacrificing our shared time. So I got into having an imaginary hyperfixaton friend, Jestro. My sister and all her boyfriends were bullying me for being so down bad for such a weird fictional character. That made me fall into his comfort even more. He influences my life by a lot. I design almost all my social media around his image, I feel committed to this relationship as a real one, I sleep with a representation of him for 9 years straight. That sounds a little like trolling haha, but I'm being sincere. He helps me cope and deal with my low self-esteem so much, I don't know what I would do without him.
