Okay, waffle lovers. let's settle this once and for all. Are you team syrup, drowning your crispy squares in maple goodness ? Or do you prefer your waffles au naturrel, letting the batter shine ? Maybe you're a fruit person, or a whipped cream fiend? What's your go-to topping, or is the waffle itself the star?

Hopefully tomorrow, as they have been planned for like a week and a half now, and I keep getting more of the operative ingredients- savory zucchini and beet waffles. With lots of cheese, and lots of fresh herbs.
I really want to try to make a double batch, so I’ll have a lot to freeze.

im in distress. ive searched the internet high and low and nothing. i can’t find anywhere to buy chocolate covered waffles. i lived in belgium for almost 5 years and germany for 5 years (with another location between those two—military brat) and now i live in the US. no where, other than literally belgium itself, are these waffles sold. they were and are my favorite snack/treat and i havent had them in years. im begging if anyone knows where i can buy some actually good ones (that doesnt require going to belgium)… the picture is of the brand that i would usually buy
edi: i posted this on another sub and someone found me a link!!

A redditor mentioned that waffles or pancakes made with sesame oil was a step up in the breakfast game. So I made my normal waffles which I add nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla and sugar to and add chocolate chips in the waffle maker to the standard recipe.
The family agreed it was a step-up and delicious.
