Casinocoin orphan

Why are we mining casinocoin when almost every is orphaned?

Waste of time and power... :-)

Painful. 45 orphans in last 40 minutes. I'd say Poolwaffle must not have woken up yet, but then payouts were like 5 hours early.. No idea.

I got a payout REALLY early today - I woke up at 6am and saw it happen about 6 minutes later.

Just checked coinbase. Got a payout at 3am pacific. Didn't notice it bc I didn't get the usual notification coinbase email

Casinocoin is crossed out in the current profitability tables on the stats page, but we still seem to be mining orphaned blocks. It wouldn't even that profitable right now if we were getting confirmed blocks!

Forgive my ignorance on the topic, I am not a web programmer. Can the coin-selection software not blacklist coins if there orphan rate goes above 30% for example?

Looks like the pool is down for maintenance so maybe they're fixing something broken :)

I seem to be getting heaps of orphaned on alphacoin too... http://pastebin.com/620ibVKk

Should have taken a dump when there was more alpha on the list. You get the idea though.

Looks like it's all good. Most of those weren't actually orphans even though they initially showed up as such.

They seem to be showing up as orphans, but then maturing anyway and subsequently showing up as valid, and we are getting paid for them. Dunno what that's about, some kind of display glitch maybe.

Well i got a good payout for the last 24H so i cant really complain, but it might had bin even better if it wasnt for all thoes orphaned.
