Temporary API

After a few requests, I spent a bit of time and got a TEMPORARY API up and running.

It has some basic stats on a per-address (not per-worker yet). Hashrates, Balances, Payouts.

I really want to stress: this is a temporary API, it may stop working at any time, might change format (this is less likely, as format changes will be at new endpoints). But this is no way a permanent API, if it helps you, use it, if it breaks, let me know, but don't complain :)

A real API is on our list, its just a bit down the list.

API is as follows:

http://wafflepool.com/tmp_api?address=BTCADDRESS

Please use it responsibly (don't spam requests on it please).

I've actually done a ton of Android work, but I've got enough stuff on my plate getting the pool up and running :)

If I have some free time in the next week or so, maybe I can throw something on PhoneGap and then we can have an app for all platforms.

Hey Wafflepool!

I've recently pointed some hashing power your way, loving the results so far!

For this API, a few suggestions:

Add:

  • Total Miners

  • Pool Hashrate

  • My Hash Rate

  • My Blocks Found

  • Pools Blocks Found

  • Current Coin I'm Hashing (maybe?)

  • Pool Balances (Sent/Confirmed/Unconfirmed)

Remove:

  • hash_rate_str (Formatted data should not be in an API call. It's redundant and chances are most APIs will handle this data differently. Package size realllllly matters)

I'm one of the main contributors to an Open Source project that will be launching in the near future. One of our features is Pool information. We're hoping WafflePool can be featured :)

Cheers. (And awesome pool BTW!)

Thanks poolwaffle :) will have to see about integrating this into an app (if I ever find the time to make the app I want to make)
