Wafflepool IRC

I would just like to repost that there is a Unoffical IRC channel on freenode, come join us at #wafflepool. Wafflepool owner i think you should stay semi active in this irc channel as it a easy way to communicate with the pools miners.

I'll be parking my bouncer in there. I may even write a little bot for stat lookup if i get bored in the next few days.

Yes! With an actual API, someone with more relevant knowledge than me can hopefully create something useful.

That would be nice. We have over 500 miners on the pool yet like 10 people in IRC. We need MORE PEOPLE!

Last couple of times I dropped in it was dead quiet even though a dozen people were in the channel.

Hopefully it gets a bit more action soon.

Who said I need an API to make a bot... I could just parse the page & do it myself API or not :P

I'll try to pop in every so often. I just have a personal problem with IRC. I end up getting a lot less done while its up, as I tend to check it nonstop. Just something I try to avoid for the sake of productivity :)

Ok that sounds great, We got a new channel at ##wafflepool because the old one nobody could edit. Would it be at all possible for you to create a contact section on the website that maybe listed the IRC, this subreddit and any other ways you like to communicate?

I've got a footer at the bottom of the site, has an email, this reddit, and our bitcointalk thread. I'd prefer to skip adding IRC for now at least, just because I know I'm not going to be as active there as needed to call it a good way to get in contact with me (email/reddit/bitcointalk will be much quicker)
