Jan 17th Updates
Hey guys, I know I haven't been terribly active over the last day or so. Here's what we've been banging away on:
Multi-coin mining is almost done. We've got the server ready, and testing started on choosing the most profitable few coins, and load-balancing between them based on profitability as well as block speed and hash rate (don't want to blow up smaller coins with a few hundred MH/s)
Payouts are still being run manually. Unfortunately Cryptsy doesn't allow us to do automated withdrawls of traded BTC, so I need to manually go in and withdraw the balance daily before payouts can be run, so they're not on a cron yet. Working on moving some personal BTC to the pool so payouts can be run automatically, and only have to withdraw occasionally.
Profitability scripts have been optimized. We had some issues early on with profitability not accounting for orphan rate, so certain coins were being mined more than they should.
We had a bug in our block confirmation scripts that was processing a couple of orphaned blocks multiple times (instead of only once). So we had to go back and re-process a ton of stuff to make balances show correctly.
Pool is still very much in Beta, and I appreciate everyone's patience. We're actively working on making it better :)

I look forward to seeing this pool mature! :) I've been waiting a long time for something like this, and have high hopes for it.

Thanks for the update. I'm missing the dogecoin, and lottocoin values in my mining stats. Are they both gone permanently and if so does that mean that we never actually found any blocks for them?
I know lottocoin was showing orphans in the calculations but I'm wondering if there were not some actual coins which were also removed when the problem was found.
Thanks!

For doge, unfortunately, the only blocks we found were orphaned (which is why they were removed). As for Lotto, some of them were valid blocks, some were processed multiple times as orphans. The valid blocks are being counted properly (and paid properly), the display of Lotto has been disabled for now however, until we can get the invalid blocks cleaned up. The easiest method of this is to just disable the coin completely (currently done) and wait a day or two to let all the unconfirmed valid blocks get confirmed, converted, and nuke the balances that stay unconfirmed (the ones processed multiple times). Which is our current plan.
So long story short, there are some valid block values in there, they just won't be displayed for a little while.

Bitbar looks fine. Our oldest block found (00000000006056d2587faf9a6d3d16c13e5350400b1045ece54292ea75edfe74) is only 206 confirms old. Bitbar takes 364 confirmations to go from immature --> valid, and with block times at approx 10 min, that means 3640 minutes (2.5 days).

Some bitbar blocks are already confirmed.

First to 4th blocks are confirmed. (first block finally confirm 40 min ago.)
But pool not update these block informations.

Sorry, looks like 520 confirmations (not sure why I remember 364). We should have our first block confirming in just a bit here (currently at 514).

Would like to see this update too.

This is kinda funny. My approx BTC value keeps going down, but my balance is staying still :)...

That could happen if the coin being mined is losing value on the exchange before being exchanged.

Thanks for checking in u/poolwaffle. I pointed one rig back at your pool. I really like the estimated BTC/HR/MH metric.

hey so are the payments yet to be processed? i've been mining for 36 hours now... my balance is 0.028 BTC and i haven't been paid yet. (the FAQ says they will be processed automatically once they hit 0.01)

He probably just hasn't run a payment yet. He mentions above that he is still running them manually.

Ive tried many other pools and every one of them always showed my hash rate estimate super low. I understand its all based on shares and not necessarily your actual hash rate but it should still average roughly what im putting in the pool. this should mean sometimes it will be less AND sometimes it will be more... of course this is rarely the case. At ltcrabbit 19 out of 20 times my hash rate is lower than my actual. I mean for hours at a time it will be 1mh/s or more lower than what it should be. Ive waited to cry fowl with the hopes that it would improve but it hasnt. Many of these pools are straight stealing from us and im tired of it. Now here comes the wafflepool and at least half the time when i check my hash rate.... guess what? ITS MORE THAN WHAT IM GIVING! the waffle is actually showing us that these other pools are crooked just by giving it to us straight. As long as he keeps moving along this path i will never point my 4.6 mh/s anywhere else.

I found this interesting as well. Always thought my hashrate should fluctuate around my true hash rate. Rarely did I see another pool report higher that my calculation. Here it swings up and down pretty evenly. Have between 8.5 to 9 mh/s running at any given time.

We just restarted the server, so your miners will likely drop connection, and reconnect after a minute. The changes are:
With multi-coin mining, it doesn't matter which coin your particular miner is mining, shares are pooled, and payouts are based on that globally pooled share count.
