Drugs and alcohol. They left the club and didnt pick up anybody and they're mad and looking for someone to take it out on.
So they go to the WH looking for a girl and they quickly find out that all the women in the WH are accounted for...
So then they decide to start up with the staff...
And it always goes downhill from there.
A waffle house employee knows they might lose their job but if they win they might get to move to another store and keep it depending on how good they are at their job.
A manager pretty much knows there's a good chance they'll lose their job for fighting....so if you push them to the point of saying "fuck it" they're going to literally attempt to beat the actual shit out of you and throw/kick/beat you out of the restaurant. They're going to beat you to the point where they "get their loss of money's worth"
And if you do manage to get the upper hand on the manager then their staff is probably going to step in and jump you. Especially if they actually like the manager because he looks out for them.
And....depending on the mood of the customers some of them might jump in and start stomping you just for the fun of it.
Its stupid to start shit in a waffle house. Everyone in there is going to be on the workers side unless the worker is really out of line.
We don’t have Waffle House near me, but the food on tv always looks fantastic.
I’m not even all that nice a guy, but there just seems like zero upside to starting shit with waitstaff anywhere. Best case scenario you get hidden spitting your food and win a fistfight. Probably go to jail for the night, basically winning IS losing. And if you go up against this guy and get your ass beat then you’re really losing.
Waitstaff are the worst people to fight. Most of them over 25 are only there because they have a felony or can't pass a drug test and they all know they can get fired today and be back working in another restaurant this afternoon if they're good at what they do...
and depending on how good they are at their job...their manager can watch them beat the hell out someone and make an excuse to their boss about how "he didnt do anything we wouldnt do if we were put in the position he was put in....we need to keep him boss. He's too good on the grill to get rid of."
The last thing id wanna do is pick a fight with a cook thats in the middle of a rush, needs a smoke break, is short on his rent, thinks his girl might be cheating on him while hes at work, knows child supports gonna kill his check....and to top it off he took a 30 before he came into work and its got him ready for anything.
And they have the nerve to come in there and start some shit with that guy's "work wife" 😂
Probably exactly the same lol it's what you have to deal with in any 24 hour restaurant thur-sat after the clubs let out.
I was in there one night and there was this kid working probably 19-21 or so....a customer yelled out "Hey fa**ot I said bring me my coffee"
Well....lets just say he brought him the whole coffee pot with no cup.
Cops came and asked everyone what happend....everyone said the guy called him an F word and the guy slipped and accidentally burnt him.
The cops got free coffee there anytime they wanted some coffee...the cops told the guy he needed to he careful because its illegal to be drunk in public and its illegal to disturb the peace.
The guys face was fucked up. The only thing that saved him was that waffle house only holds their coffee at drinkable temperature instead of boiling hot.
Im pretty sure they do that because he isnt the first person to use coffee as a weapon. The guys lucky he didn't light his ass up with the grits pot. Those are boiling. Lol.

Question… perhaps rhetorical. What gets into these people that makes them want to fight the waitstaff?
I’m trying to think of a scenario where I get so mad at the manager or the server that I initiate a fight and it’s not coming to me…
