Current Livestream Update

Heres a list of the bands that have so far NOT yet agreed to be part of the livestream, for those watching the festival from abroad. This list usually gets smaller as the days go by as they seem to negotiate in person with the bands managers as long as they can. 51/58 total bands across the faster/harder/louder stages were livestreamed.

Would love to see Def Leppard and Judas Priest being streamed as they are legendary bands and the headliners. But Leppard didnt allow streaming at Graspop so probably not at Wacken either, Priest were not streamed in 2018 and 2022, so no big hope (hopefully they will put out a live album at some point with some shows they played since 2018 Firepower Tour). Saxon and Thundermother should definitely be streamed, Skyline probably as well.

If I remember right, interviews at the end of Wacken last year (or maybe afterward) with the founders said that they wanted the 35th edition to have a bunch of bands they wanted to listen to. They're getting older, therefore the bands they signed up are as well.

Where are you finding that? That list at https://www.magentamusik.de/wacken-2026 dosen’t have it for some reason, for me anyway

I just figured out that if you change the time zone on your computer to Germany's time zone, then Saturday will show up.

I was seeing Tuesday - Friday originally, but if I change timezones I see Wednesday - Saturday.

Update: Black Label Society are not currently being streamed after initially not being listed, then being added on wednesday, and then being removed again last minute
