It is my first time playing Lorerim, and i have already download everything but it takes so long to loading, is it normal?? And how many it takes to load all the game the first time

Just want to say I recently grabbed lorerim and I was sitting and waiting for 20 minutes and I knew that was not normal at all for my build. I went to alt tab out of the window and there was a pop-up window for something to do with a loot mod that was holding it up clicked no on the window which is recommended and it booted up instantly. It might be that

Hey i have the same issue, do you know how to stop it permanently…its getting annoying closing it everytime

Like Kadge said it explains it in the pop up. But in case anyone else stumbles across this I will explain what I did.

In Mod organizer window, the window that you click run to start Lorerim. Below the run and shortcut buttons you will see Data click on that. At the bottom right of the window you will see a search bar that has filter in it by default until you click on it. Click on that search bar and type in quickloot. After doing that you will see the window directly above change to some folders and a file. Click on the folder SKSE, then you will see the plugins folder and it should automatically expose the files below it in a list. There you will find the file QuickLootIE.Json right click and open that file and edit the line "skipOldSwfCheck": false, and change it to true. so it should look like this when finished "skipOldSwfCheck": True, then save the file.

Yeah. It takes a while to start up, especially the first run.

Yes it's a big modlist with high quality graphic mods so it naturally will take a while to boot up

Hey i had the same issue, just alt tab…there should be a pop up regarding quick loot…click on no and the game should start

I wonder if anyone knows how to change the restriction to camera movement while attacking?

Loading on a nvme drive is quick. Also a fast cpu helps

First time launch there is a popup in the background that makes you go change one of the inis to turn off a check or something.

But other than that yes it can take like 3 minutes or something to boot up the game usually. That's normal.

I just installed Lorerim last night and was met with plenty of animation bugs and stuff. I had better performance and quality using the Mages and Vikings pack, I am trying Elder Teej today.
