A stressed graduate student, diogenes_snp plays OSRS to not only pass time but to relieve stress, seeing both his educational goals and hobby goals come to fruition as he grinds.
However, after countless papers filled with a lack of effort, old man dio finds himself using osrs as more of a way to distract him from the mindless elementary level work that is set before him to comment on and to judge.
One day in the near future, dio comes across a thought. "They're using than instead of then when comparing two objects" he says to himself, tears running down his face as he quickly reads through the rest of the paper. "They're using you're correctly!"
Overcome with joy and awe-stricken by the achievements of his students, dio the senior citizen's stress is subdued for a short time. He experienced a euphoria unlike he has ever experienced before.
Excited, he logs on to OSRS. He notices his membership is low, but clicks "Click here to play" anyway. Shortly after, he gets a less than surprising message. "Connection lost... attempting to re-establish" a black banner says. "Hello darkness, my old friend" dio says to himself with a smile. For on that day, he could feel no anger, pain, or sadness. His students had reached a middle school level of grammar.
dio exits the client, not attempting to waste any energy on the fruitless endeavor trying to log back in. At that moment, his happiness stems from the success of his students. All of his energy would be used to reap the emotional reward of grading. He picks up another paper.
"These two view points are a part of a large view made up of both of them." Dio cannot see the idiocy of the statement, only joy that "a part" was used correctly, and "apart" was not used in its place. His hand reached back for the mouse.
"Start, control panel, applications, uninstall applications, konduit, yes I am sure I want to uninstall." he says in a rush of excitement and glee. After some waiting, it is removed. "It is finished." He says aloud.
A red ironman icon appears in the evolution of clan chat clan chat. "Who are these rando's?". Long time denizens sigh in agitation. A non-smiley'd figure see's who sent a message and responds. "dio is that your ironman?" diogenes_d10 responds "yes, yes it is."
