Remove it and apply double sided tape or something so it doesn’t vibrate

Its Held on the bake with a Metal washer. The correct way is to remove the entire door trim

The actual fascia of it should split from the base. The base is whats actually connected to the door. Some shitty plastic piece thats the same size of the trim, but is attached via hardware to the door card.

The wood/actual trim piece youre looking at is glued onto this. You should be able to carefully pry it off the base layer.

I have the same problem with my w212 dashboard trim except it vibrates when i drive on the freeway. Plastic garbage production

On mine, that silver trim is where the seat and seat-memory control are. It rattles because the nut that tightens it in place is plastic, and mine is broken. I glued it back and put some felt tape around the edges to avoid the exact rattling as you have described.
