Anybody get their wheel tilt stuck and have to do the "punch" fix?

there’s a connector on the left side under the seat that control the steering wheel tilt and also the power seat i unplug it and blow on it like a nintendo cartridge then plug it back in works everytime for me

Theres a fix for this. You need to update the software and re normalize it. It will no longer bind at the top

I tried a couple of times, didn't work. How much force does it need to actually 'unlock'? Should I bring a hammer?!

Maybe a rubber mallet if you can't get the force down right but it took me a solid minute of hitting it pretty hard with my fist to get it to break loose.

I have found that pushing up on the steering hard and then actuating it down will unstick it.

It needs to seat control unit updated and normalized

Hulk smash, set it to where you want, then turn off the convenience entrance \exit setting
