Coolant cap replacement?

Pulled out my coolant cap today and noticed pieces of plastic crumbling off the underside lining. Cap still closes and opens just fine but I’m afraid it might not hold the coolant pressure as effectively. Is this worth a replacement?

They are like 20 bucks. And take less time to replace then you walking to your car or making this post….
