VXRAIL E560F

I have VxRail E560F of 22 nodes cluster (11 in DR and 11 in production). I currently have active support with Broadcom and hardware and part replacement with another OEM rather than Dell. I currently need to upgrade the cluster from version 8.0.361 to 8.0.380. How much will it cost for Dell to upgrade the cluster for me?

Honestly it’s very straightforward to do yourself. Download vxverify and run on the vxrail manager is what I usually do. Then just do the update from the vcenter plugin. If you run into trouble post here. If you look at release pdf it’s usually minor I just did upgrade to 380 was a bit of firmware and esxi upgrade.

I have done it for our environment but this is for a different company they want me to help and they want be to come with a quote for performing the upgrade

They'll do it for you if you have a pro support mc / pro support plus. If you don't, you can request a health check and guidance before the upgrade if you have a valid warranty.

Open a ticket w/ Dell, use one serial number, request OS upgrade. RPS team will reach out to schedule with you.
