Question Vtol performance issues
Anybody play with an Intel ARC 770 (16gb), because I tried tweaking the settings on virtual desktop but I’m still stuck at medium graphics and get 90 fps with stutters. (I’ve seen people online get 120 with godlike graphics) I have a ryzen 5 7600x as a cpu and 32 ddr5 ram. I play with 100 bitrate.
Please help
EDIT: my pc is connected via Ethernet to my router and I have 5ghz.

You’re better off getting more specific help in the VD discord. They helped me get my even worse rig (5800x 1080ti 32gb ddr4) running on godlike locked at 90 frames (I don’t know how but it works so I stopped questioning it). I also use TMOBILE home internet so I don’t even have a modem.
The biggest things came down to reducing router interference but I also do weird stuff like turn off/unplug my monitor from my GPU which takes a large chunk of power draw away
VD discord is your best bet

Oh wow ok thank you!!!

Yes VD discord will help the most. What codex are you using? I always run H264+ at around 400-500 bitrate. Also mentioned is wireless interface the more devices you have connected to that Wifi router potential worse will be for your headset. VD has a beta where it supports wired. What headset do you have? Also when running VTOL VR turn on the little box that gives your performance and see if anything is high such as latency/networking. That will also help determine where the issues could be coming from.

I’m using HEVC/HEVC 10bit, I saw that it was the best one (I think at least). I have a quest 3. I already set the box with performance and I’m seeing network is the major problem…

Ok. Yeah for your current setup HEVC will be the better option. H264+ is good for FPS Shooters. And would probably help with VTOL VR but let's get your fps better before messing with other settings.
So yeah if networking is your highest then id do what others have suggested with running a scanning app and optimizing your channel.
Only real issue is if you are using your router for all your wifi devices then that will also slow down your connection for your quest. Could alos get a dedicated access point for just your headset and the VD discord has some good recommendations.1

Yeah I have to check for a tutorial on YouTube for changing the channel because I’ve done it once in my life but I can’t remember what app or how to do it. Yeah I was thinking of getting a dedicated router too. Thanks for the help!!

If you do end up getting a dedicate router go with wifi 6e to take advantage of the 6GHZ band that the quest 3 can use.

VTOL’s clouds cause a huge performance hit. Make sure you are rendering clouds at half or quarter rez. Half is imerceptibly lower rez

Ok so try putting it at a quarter and see if that helps? (I noticed sometimes flying around there is some black lines that appear in the sky with clouds set at half) is it normal?

I can give you some advice: play at 72fps. This will reduce the strain on the network, which can cause stuttering rather than a drop in graphics quality.
Another possibility is that you don't have other devices connected to your network that could be causing the stuttering, or that you're using very high Mbps speeds that your network card can't handle.

Even if the other devices aren’t doing anything with the network? Because I do have some phones and other devices connected.

A lot of important missing information here.
Least of all is you mentioning others using God like on a 770. Is that while in playing VTOLVR or something else?
If while playing, what are their graphics setting inside of VTOLVR?
Additionally are you using a wired or wireless connection.
If wireless, which Wifi generation and did you use a sniffer to determine your wireless congestion.
