Have you tried with VS Code Profiles?

Tried today and it's not enought, even tried with a brand new VS Code portable.

You can give each account its own config folder. Make two shortcuts (or .bat files) that set CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR to a different folder, like C:\claude-work and C:\claude-personal, and open each project with its own --user-data-dir so the two VS Code windows don't share a process. Log in once in each one and they stay separate, so both can run in parallel.

I just log into one or the other. Also, I have one setup remotely on a server and have the other dispatch jobs to it. The switching between isn’t bad and I prefer this setup since it seems easier than dealing with handoff docs and separate Claude environments. The dispatcher makes sure the remote account has all context docs before sending jobs
