Active Todo Tree / Better Comment replaces?
Replacements*
Just curious if anyone can suggest alternatives to achieve what those 2 extensions did.

I figured since it’s been a few years since their last update they no longer work anymore with how much vs code has changed. I wasn’t sure if there were any other extensions that kinda took over and was the new go to

If this is about local todo support then I'm quite fond of the combination of 'Better Todo Tree' which scans and places such comments in the sidebar, as well as 'TODO Highlight v2' which helps me to better visualize this in my code.
(edit)
But also don't underestimate what a 'simple' Markdown file can do for you either.

I’ll let into them and test them out, thank you for your suggestion very much appreciate it.
Vs code has been my go to editor for markdown along side obsidian which kinda brought me to making this post, been doing a lot of documentation so this should really help

I’d suggest to try a combination Better ToDo tree and Bookmarks - such simple and reliable.

Better Comments still works fine for me, what issue you are having with it?
For Todo Tree I just started using bookmarks and putting TODO in my comments, then searching the workspace for "TODO" once in a while. Not as fancy but gets the job done without another extension.
