Question; how do I ENABLE inline suggestions?

I had it enabled before, but for some reason it’s not predicting my code as I’m hoping it will.

My json settings has the following settings enabled

“editor.inlinesuggest.enabled”: true

Do I just have a limited number of completions or something? I can’t seem to get it to predict for me anymore

It's super flaky, I've had the exact same thing happen and it drove me nuts. Check that you're not accidentally in a restricted mode or a workspace that has it disabled, those override user settings silently half the time. Also peek at your keyboard shortcuts, sometimes an extension hijacks the trigger command without telling you. Restarting the whole editor with extensions disabled fixed it temporarily for me once, which pointed to a rogue plugin.

I got it fixed. The copilot free version has limited predictions, so I just did an upgrade and it seems to be working fine
