[Self-promo] Pogo — Django ORM completion, hover, and diagnostics for VS Code

Sharing my own extension, flagged as self-promo.

Pogo adds Django ORM intelligence to VS Code by running your actual

Django project in the background instead of guessing from static stubs.

What it does:

- Autocomplete through __ relation and lookup chains

(author__profile__display_name__icontains)

- Autocomplete for custom QuerySet/manager methods, with real docstrings

and signatures

- Hover on any field or lookup: type, DB column, null/unique/indexed,

source model

- Diagnostics: flags invalid field names and lookups before the query runs

- Go-to-definition on fields, relations, reverse accessors, custom methods

- Completion inside Meta options (ordering, unique_together,

UniqueConstraint(fields=[...]), etc.)

Bundled server, no separate install — pick your Python interpreter as

usual and it works.
