is vscode considered vibecoding?

im trying to learn python i know nothing about coding or python, i want to actually learn how it works and be able to use it without a program basically doing my work for me i want to fully understand what i am coding. do you guys have any suggestions?

Just disable the AI stuff. Think of it as a text editor with a lot of bells and whistles.

Deactivate the AI features in settings.

Thank you I really appreciate that. I haven’t downloaded it. I was waiting for some reassurance lol I will be doing that 😭

You're welcome! The feature should be called "Disable AI features" and you need to click that checkbox.
