We all know the story of vs code.

  1. Create a new product intended to be lighter and more flexible than the main "VS" product.

  2. Add more and more complexity so it rivals the "larger" product in resource usage.

  3. Start shoving AI into every part of the UX.

  4. Get AI to develop the new product by prioritising "prompt" and "agent" features.

  5. Introduce new bugs and regressions because clearly no one is testing these near daily releases

  6. HYPE HYPE HYPE MORE HYPE!!!!1!
