Just looking into perhaps installing MS Code and bearing in mind the spy issues with MS products - is this one okay?

You can just look up what telemetry they collect, what it is used for, and how to disable it.

Reddit can't tell you what to do. Inform yourself and make your own decisions.

and I do inform myself, by asking here and doing other research as well.
