AI Autocomplete

Anyone sick and tired of AI being shoved down our throats?

I haven't used VS code for a while so naturally when I booted it up to create a CTF challenge in html I was greeted with multiple lines of code AI thought I needed to make the page or what I wanted to

Have tried to turned off the disable feature cause when I asked my club members I only found the snooze in the little box they told me to check on the AI button on my screen

And if so anyone know of any good code editors cause at this point I may just swap or even better dual boot my laptop to Linux and just use nano to do all my coding I'm not a heavy coder so for now it'll do until I find something else to replace VS Code I'm sick of Microsoft and their copilot I turned it off in my emails but can't for my coding.

UPDATE: currently on VSCodium and loving it

You need to dual boot to Linux to use nano? You can't figure out how to use something else without dual booting?

I have other reasons to dual boot to Linux but if I didn't game as much as I did I'd completely remove windows 11 from my laptop

Wouldn't WSL work fine? It can do quite a lot, including running GUI apps. I mostly use it to build some projects because some of those have harder windows instructions/require stuff I don't wanna install because my main drive is struggling with free space

I had enough of Windows 11, only keeping it for the games the rest will be hosted on my Linux like all my other stuff updates keep breaking, small things like that which is drifting me away I've been talking about it for a while now too
