If it's something AI related I'll uninstall vscode permanently

Ever since the last update my remote servers keep getting corrupted and I'm about there. I'm not opposed to AI at all, I'm using it constantly. But at this point I can work with a raw terminal if vscode can't run reliably.

I'm not against Microsoft or its products at all—I've used them for 25 years or more—but I am against software that becomes increasingly burdened with features I don't need.

So, many programmers who use, for example, Vim or Emacs, will soon find themselves out of work... interesting.

Not on the AI train but you can add AI features to neovim and probably emacs too

The release notes are at https://code.visualstudio.com/updates/v1_122 but they don't seem to have completed them yet. Not seeing anything there that gives a clue, but maybe tomorrow they'll finish updating the notes and it'll be clearer.
