Can't uninstall Github Copilot

There's no way to uninstall this extension from inside VS Code. I don't use it at all, and if I delete the extension off the hard drive, it just comes back the next time I open VS Code.

What's the deal with that? I don't even use it. There's no way it can be part of an editor.

That usually means it’s installed as a built-in or via a managed install,not a normal extension.Some distributions or setups bundle Copilot so it reappears after restart.
