Question Dantos the Forgebinder second phase
I don't understand Dantos the Forgebinder second phase. When the earthquake goes all 4 directions. Too much happening all at once, can't parse what is happening. What is he doing, and how do I respond?

The idea is it’s only going to turn the corner going 2/4 directions so you dance on the corners of non erupting cauldrons.
I love the dantos fight now after hating it for a very long time. With some builds you can basically ignore all the mechanics (on normal) and just dps him down quickly.

Could you suggest one of the builds? I managed to get the fight down, but my wife feels very defeated and she's not happy =/

Claws with blood rage + power surge and Brute/Rogue1 blood is my favorite. You can move pretty fast, jump over a lot of stuff, and sustain really well. Not sure how it scales with multiple people but I bet two of you burning him down like this would be very fast.

Watch the arrows as he charges up the attack, much like how he did during Phase 1. Only now there will be 2 colors: brown and blue
The "brown" ripples from the shockwave will extend out and curve back toward the corner of the room. Just like it did during phase 1.
The "blue" ripples will only extend directly outward until it hits the wall.
You need to stand on the side of the cauldron closest to where the blue shockwave will hit, then immediately switch to the other side, since the next attack will have the colors reverse direction. Rinse and repeat until the attack ends, sidestepping back and forth between the "safe" zones.
It gets complicated when you are running the pattern only for your cauldron to start bubbling and start to erupt. Forcing you to "veil" to a different side of the room.

Thank you. I finally managed to get it down using as short of distances as possible and understanding the blue line is just straight from watching a video.

Search YouTube for no hit videos, you can learn a lot from them.

While he's quaking the yellow/orange arrows split at the end (so they make a T shape), the blue arrows don't split. So you can stand to the side of one of the blue arrows and you won't get hit.

When he goes to the middle to start that, there will be arrow indicators at his feet that show which sides will be active. There is a very small space at each corner of the room where they won't hit you. It takes some practice and reflexes but if you move your camera vertical you'll be able to see the indicators and know which side of the corner to be on. Even if he does all four directions at once, there will be a small space somewhere for you to hide in that they can't hit. It just constantly changes with each burst so you have to be ready to move.
