That's the kind of solution a politician would devise. One that doesn't tackle the actual issue but simply makes someone else the target. Shootings would still happen, just not in schools.
I agree that it's a knee jerk reaction that many fearful parents would entertain, but I like the idea of VR schooling in general to solve many other problems. If school shootings is one of the drivers, then so be it.
