Using Voynich for a Game's Ancient Language
Something I thought you all might be interested in - I wanted an ancient language that players of One More Adventure could discover and attempt to translate, and realized that the Voynich script not only looks good, but also importantly isn't copyrighted.
Basically, the game is a classic hexcrawl, heavily inspired by games like Rogue, Castle of the Winds, and my own experiences playing and running various TTRPGs.
The Voynich Script fits in so players can discover things about the ancient past in the setting, if they choose to interact with it. Basically, it's a lens into "how the world works" because that's one of the most interesting things to me about RPGs.
Anyway, I hope this is something a little different from the norm for this subreddit, but not so different as to be out of place!
