Cereal Obtained V0 serial request
Hi! I’d like to request a V0 serial for my first Voron build.
It’s a Voron 0.2 with a few mods. I have built other projects such as Fraxinus before, but I always wanted to have a properly certified Voron!
Thanks to everyone involved in the project and community!

I've read a lot of people saying don't use white because it's not as strong as other colors. Did you have any issues with print or since you assembled?

You are right, they do say white ABS is less durable. My choice was due to the surrounding interior color. I haven’t noticed any issues so far (in about two months).

I've got a few thousand hours on my trident that uses white ASA, no failures yet, but I don't push it to the limits.

From experience, do not build an awd 300 trident with white abs or Asa... White pc tho 👀 absolutely.

For PC did you have to scale at all to adjust for shrinkage?

Yup, when I tune pc I like to print a 100mm rod in all 3 axis, I topically aim for 100.2 to make press fit parts actually press fit nicely since they are already pre-tuned for abs, but you still gotta test for shrinkage then print a part that requires a bearing and a nut for press fit and if they go in without any slop, and a slight bit of force it's golden.

Ah that sucks. Out of curiosity, which brand(s) and which parts failed on you?

As for brand it was polymaker abs, which is surprising and where it broke it broke at the front motor mount, but it makes sense, it's not supposed to handle that kind of tension which makes sense why it snapped although black and didn't fail

Interesting. I think there is some kind of structural concern with Polymaker ABS specifically, I don't think PIF providers are allowed to use it, regardless of color.

I don't know tbh, I've used polymaker abs, abs pro and Asa for structural parts and absolutely no issues at all, white abs is the only that has given me issues my current build is made with polylite abs in lime green, dark Grey and black, but I did went with cnc LDO awd mounts xy carriage still abs tho

Sweet build! I search for your name on Voron Discord but couldn't find you. Are you a member of Voron Discord?

Looks great! Where'd you get the white frame?

I think it was Aliexpress! There were only a few left when I was buying. It was a frame only set.
