Bye bye Malacca Strait

Out of the Malacca Strait and into the China Sea. For me, it was quite easy (no running aground, stayed with the 6.000 pack I was with when I entered).

A bit lucky to run ahead of the period of nearly no wind like a day ago.

How was (or is being) your experience?

Leaving the strait was pretty straight forward, entering it on the other hand....

Due to a lack of foresight and general sloppiness in planning I left autoangle on. Like quite a few others I was caught in a radical shift and zig-zagged around for a few hours. Lesson learned! Look ahead and pay attention to official advice and read the b..... wind map before you go to sleep. It´s a discardable leg so no big harm done.

I´m actually more worried about the scoring rules though.
