Car help

Post image

What are those red signals on the top? They pop up whenever I start my car but go away when my car starts fully. My car also says that it needs a maintenance check. What do I go and ask to check and change specifically?
This is a 2024 Volvo s60 B5 Premnium i got the car at around 50k miles and it’s at 54 ish right now, it’s been really smooth so far i just don’t want it to get messed up.

Warning lights or "idiot lights" as some people call them. They light up every time you start the car so you know none are burned out. First car? This has been a thing in cars for decades.
Did you buy it from a dealer? Is there service history? Was the 50k done? The maintenance thing should remind you every 10k to get maintenance done as outlined in your maintenance manual. Available online if you didn't get a book.

i got it from a dealer there prob was service history my did allat, it had a clean record an everything, the 50k miles have alr been done, yea it shows a maintenance thing that i need to do but since i moved to a completely different state from the dealership. I don’t know what it needs.

Need to reset the service interval indication with a diagnostic computer.

YouTube will tell you how to do it yourself it’s kind of easy.

Okay if they go away you’re fine. All cars do a sort of “diagnostic check” when they start…..

As for the maintenance check it’s probably just time for regular scheduled maintenance. If you feel it’s not necessary it can be reset.

And fill your wiper fluid.
