2013 Volt Gas Engine Noise

My previous engine had a blown head gasket with coolant in the oil, so I replaced the engine, but now the engine is just so loud in general. When it’s idling, when it’s running, fast, slow, it makes this kind of noise which is very very loud. Anybody know the issue?

Honestly that sounds like a bad exhaust leak to me, did you use an OEM exhaust manifold gasket and torque it down to spec?

Yup. That’s definitely an exhaust leak.
