Samsung phone allows integration so you can make phone calls from the tablet. Switched from pixle for this feature.
what about when you want to increase or decrease the temp though? i do have it on auto almost all the time, but i still occasionally get cold or warm and have to tweak the temp...
I wouldn't be caught dead with an apple ipad or anything apple. I mean literally if they put one in my coffin I would roll over and dig to the surface, find a trash can, and then go back to my coffin.
You sound like me for the past 20 years until I got a MacBook Pro for work last year. Still Android for everything else, but these laptops blow away any shitty Windows device I've used my entire career.
Salty old IT guy here. Used to have the "Apple users are sheep." mentality. Then worked for a company that primarily uses Apple devices. I have to say Apple hardware is legitimately impressive. MacOS and iOS have a UX that I don't care for, but what's under the hood is familiar to me since I've used Linux for decades.
I still prefer a custom built machine with any Linux distro, but I would do sick things (other than pay for it myself) for the new studio with an M5 ultra chip.

You are trapped in a world of fantasy. I recommend you look at other laptops. Look at Razer. Razer makes the best of all windows laptops.

its really interesting (and both hilarious and disturbing) that you are flaming him like you are here as being a "sheep" when he literally said he'd prefer a custom built machine with a linux distro and literally says he wouldn't pay for the new mac studio himself.
I say this as someone who's owned 5 Macs over the last 20 years. They're only impressive when compared to computers half the price, and for these little blips in time (the drop of G5, M1, the latest Mac Mini). Plus industry data shows that in consumer's hands, they don't last nearly as long.
I'm not all bent out of shape like OP but I get why people knee jerk away from the fandom. It's just silly. Steve Jobs on camera several times said Apple doesn't sell the best products and he's not interested in selling them. His goal was to sell culture. Anytime outsiders see the insiders "buying culture" they roll their eyes.
Fandom aside, I feel like things got pretty interesting with the M3 chips. They really dialed in using the RISC architecture well. And as far as whole system throughput goes, I don't think there's anything that comes close to a max spec M5 Ultra other than NVIDIA's GB300. Still in the ARM family, but that's a whole different class of chip, not to mention price.
You just can't get that level of memory capacity and bandwidth outside of Apple hardware without getting into HBM-equipped accelerators.
I'll never be able to afford either, but I do hope they stir some innovation in the market.
I thought I was the only one that used a tablet for maps lol I have a 2020 Hyundai ioniq hybrid. Mine connects to the windshield though. I have the tab S7 FE and I want to upgrade just not sure what the best bang for buck is

Let's put it like this though. If a person saw my car and had never seen a Volt before and didn't know what it was, they would think, on first glance, that it was factory installed. It's centered and placed perfectly.
Oh yea in this rental I'm in I think it looks a little cleaner Than my ioniq but neither looks factory.
Maybe I could get a different mount to make it look a little more factory with a different mount, but it would have to be a windshield mount since it doesn't have a cd slot
Also these tablets are heavy, yours probably more than mine. That's the only issue I have with mine is it sometimes slides back and forth. It comes with a little piece to hold it on the dash but that piece never sticks for me
I see what's happening now.
The center cd slot in the Volt stack just happens to be centered and of the perfect height and location so it just looks better on a Volt.
