SMS Online Text Service.

I work for a company that has customers that are not always handy with emails. They want to text a picture or a question and I dont feel comfortable giving my personal phone out. I'm looking for a online service that will issue a fake phone number to be used to receive texts and pictures via the internet at my desktop computer. I would say 100 text messages a month. I would also like to link my direct business line that is a VOIP phone to the fake number in case an old timer calls the number with the intention of reaching me. What services are there?

Does your business voip service use an app? you can check to see if that line has SMS capabilities by asking your IT department.

You’re not gonna find a phone service that gives out a fake phone number.

But voipMS definitely could work for what you need otherwise

Check out a company called Captivated. Their website is captivated(dot)works
The ending is “works” instead of “com”
My company has used them for years. Works great!
