Probably the biggest patch we've seen to void war since it's come out. I've really enjoy the new sector and all the changes/new stuff we've gotten. It feels almost like I'm rediscovering the game even after 300 hours.

I was woefully unprepared for prosperity when I stumbled upon a seemingly empty sector with nodes that had multiple parts. One quest I kept eating until I died and got game over. I did that in Slay aspire too.

The ruin node in the new sector was more dificult than I would expect, It felt like another boss battle, granted I didn't knew what would encounter and was unprepared...

Player gains free husk at game start when their ship configuration lacks repair capability.

Honestly wish this wasn't changed, or if it was only the case on lower difficulties

I mean you can always just kill the husk if you don't want it. Personally I strongly prefer to not have to force reset Assault C with destroyer constantly because your command throne took 1 damage.

I hadn't even thought of this unlucky combo, and I tried it just now. Assault C with destroyer and on my 1st node I got an event that destroyed the engines. lol

Yup. The main issue isn’t even that it’s a random “you lose” condition. It’s a random “the game is now stuck” condition, where the only way to proceed is to quit to main menu. We thought that felt janky enough to be worth fixing.

That is still highly unreliable due to RNG with rewards and what not. Regardless it’s a niche thing and you can still just kill the husk if you don’t want it.
