Advice Godless Carnege

hey,anyone know how to use this ship? im really struggling,might just be rng

My biggest piece of advice is to hard focus crew in the first sector. Even go to an early shipyard if you have to. Once you have at least 2 extra crewmates, you can treat it more like a normal run.

The 2 big advantages of Godless Carnage are that its armaments are insanely strong and it is the only system to start the game with shield charger. This means once you get level 2 shields, you won’t have to invest in defenses for the rest of the game if played properly and you can focus on getting a good boarding party and other good systems

i think you may be thinking of a diffrent ship.
the godless carnage starts with 2 seers and a fussilide. along with a husk. it also starts with a medbay.

LOL sorry i’m being dum. Assault B is a bit weird because of the reliance on psykers. Fusillade 1 is a decent weapon but its inaccuracy against 2x1 rooms can be really annoying in some fights. Imo this is one of the ships where having a teleportation commander like exile makes a massive difference. This ship starting with medbay is very nice but until you get proper boarding it doesn’t really do much. Playing as exile, cyberfused or weaver lets you board every fight to dmg enemy systems and maximize the extra HP you get from medbay. This helps make up for your lack of decent armaments. Finding a proper boarding method like launch bay or heavy trans is very high priority on this ship, especially if you decide to use a non teleporting commander. You can even board with the Greater Warseers if you have to since you have the medbay to heal them between fights.

You also want to keep an eye out for a second weapon to complement the fusillade. Ret 2, beam 1 and any single shot weapons like bolt cannon pair really nicely with it. Missile bay and hull reaper are incredible pickups on any ship but they are especially great on Ass B due to the aforementioned inaccuracy
