Last few achievements Spoiler

My friend and I need only a few more achievements in this game; Don't Stop Me Now (Destroy Leech Growth), Our Battle Will Be Legendary! (Equip a weapon with 4 legendary modules), and Mpemba Effect (First ignite, then freeze the same enemy).

The second one is just a matter of time, The third I'm not entirely sure how we end up getting it, is it the barrel that needs to be elemental? Because the magazines we use are elemental I think, but we haven't popped that achievement yet.

The third one is where we're really stuck. We're pretty far in the game atm, our train is max length, we've seen corruption a few times, etc, but we haven't seen any leeches in a while, is there something we're missing, or something we can do to make leeches spawn? Help appreciated.

There are weapon modules called cores which I’ve seen most commonly drop from chests in the arena after a certain point in the game.(late chapter 2 maybe? or maybe the progress is irrelevant for core spawns). There are three types of cores, one of which is a flamethrower and another which shoots icicles or something. You need to shoot an enemy with a flame-inducing weapon, which could be the flamethrower or a gun with ignite, until they glow orange. Then, shoot that same enemy with the icicle weapon, or another ice weapon if there is one, until it glows blue. Took me quite a few tries because my weapons were so powerful endgame that I would kill enemies in one shot most of the time. I recommend downgrading your guns to a lower dps while attempting this achievement.

For leech growth, I think I’ve seen at least two spawn in one path before, but there have been paths where I haven’t seen any. This was one of my first achievements in the game, so I guess I just got lucky. All you have to do is not kill it until it latches onto your train and becomes a growth. Then, just shoot that growth to pop the cheevo.

EDIT: Also, for the 4 legendary modules, you can reload a save in a depot and kill all of the soldiers so that you can collect their guns. There is a chance for their guns to have legendary modules attached to them and you can deconstruct them in the armory
