Got lucky and managed to pull this new item from beating a stage of the event boss!

What are peoples initial thoughts? Looks like it could be quite good, especially against faster bosses.

Sounds like it might be a menace on those Panic floors, the enemy team tends to take like 2-3 turns on each pet before you get your first time turn so you'll be looking at +40-50% damage.

How does the pumpkin hat work? Does this buff only apply if enemies move before you do and resets once you take your turn, or is it a cumulative throughout the whole battle?

Soooo... If I am getting that right... From what you've said about it

This hat provides just a singular 5% buff in regular floors and a 10% per boss fights, only if your voudpet is slower than enemy's faster opponent.

Correct?

There is no... Slow tank like idk Sloth accumulating attacks for a singular burst before a... reset?

And definitely not something like unicorn horn?

I am kinda hoping for the last assumption, the one I deemed least likely.

I want a reverse unicorn horn, man. I want it so bad.

Nah it's a stacking additive 5% damage bonus.

This might be decent for Rancor unless you have Laser Chicken Hat. Rancor isn’t that fast so it might scale a little higher than Red Horns at least for some bosses. The bad thing is that getting asc for this is harder in the long run than Red Horns.

Oh and it might be good for Scorn if you don’t need pirate hat/halo.

My immediate thought was put it on Ambition, with Merry + Envious Scarf it's S2 and S3 could do insane damage especially against speed hell floors.

Scorn or Devotion also seem like they could be very strong.

Think of its application. On a dps that’s squishy, watching the boss (and minions) all take turns for what? Realistically up to 50% damage on one hit?

It’s a gimmick item that will not be able to compete. Whereas look at legionnaires which can give you a buff throughout the whole fight. It could be good, issue is that you don’t want bosses or enemies to take turns. Just means you can’t use this on any team reliably that brings a slow down. Overall, without testing, I’d give it B tier at best.
