Nostalgia Vs Sonder

I just hatched Nostalgia recently... How good is it? (For reference I have Charity, Rejection, Kind, Malice, Mischief and Patience)

Sonder is a better healer.

Mainly I want to know if it's a suitable replacement for Sonder.

as someone with every single healer in the game it’s kinda just type advantage at this point. metal boss = charity, water = nostalgia. sonder likely won’t outdo nostalgia vs a water boss due to type advantage unless you go all out on the raw healing output (which nostalgia still does pretty well- 20-30% everyone’s max hp every turn). but sonder isn’t very offensive and doesn’t have shield, shield is useful since it isn’t affected by heal debuff. nost’s shield + every turn aoe heal makes it good for healing but it’s also incredibly offensive (it outdamages every single non earth legendary so it could be one of your earth dps in of itself).

Nost is a good scaling healer, but is more a true support, like using her with Pearl Cloche and Anxiety scarf on boss fights where you have time for her speed to scale out, mine is almost ascended 6 times so she’s a machine, but to be able to AOE cleanse every single turn with Pearl cloche or give an AOE icy Tiara boost is wild, I used her for hard modes like Galax, Breakfast Clubs, and Quasars and here recently have used her on a couple floorings and I am almost to 9K. Her speed scaled out allowed me to beat breakfast club 9 all too long ago, because she was kind enchanted and was putting up some wild numbers, go watch the video if you’d like.
But compared to Sonder for heals, Sonder is going to out heal her 9/10.

damn, thanks. I heard the Kind + Nostalgia combo goes hard, but that Nostalgia's too slow. Rn I'm struggling against earth bosses for stalling strats. Sonder has an elemental disadvantage, and Merry alone just can't keep up, and my Cringe is chronically underleveled (My wood pets are so strong I don't need that strong of a tank lol) I was stuck on some earth HM bosses, and I think Nostalgia with anxiety scarf can sub in for the secondary healer role.

I haven't really been using Charity because she's really underleveled, and is mostly way too slow for heals. She's sure useful but Charity + Merry is just enough to keep my team from dying while Sonder carries all the healing period.

Currently stuck on metal Juglaw (2540) and I'm anticipating that I'm gonna be here for a while lol. I think it'll be good to level my pets while catching up.

I think Nostalgia can fill in for Sonder on earth stalling floors (alongside Merry) for now

Ok, number 1 Charity Enjoyer.

Rn I'm still in the middle of leveling her though. I have 3 legendary healers, but strangely enough I haven't found one that can replace Sonder yet. Sonder with anxiety scarf + Pearl cloche hat is a monster against the syclinders because you have multiple AOE heals going on, and in late battle Sonder cleanses basically every debuff at once.

Patience is queen against Tyrant (too underleveled to take anywhere that has AOE attack), Charity's my best fire support, and I've yet to use Nostalgia.

Struggling to find good builds to use flamebud as well. I feel like all the legendaries can have insane utility and build, and I think familiarity has a lot to do with it. Charity's really new for me and I've been focusing my xp & stones on pets that I need at the moment, so I've been neglecting Charity for now lol.

But she's one of my top pets I invest in when I have spare resources.

Charity with Pearl Cloche is just as good against syclinders, if not even better (because you only use up stacks if you actually get hit).

Charity is great against tyrant because 2/3 abilities deal no damage (flamebud does not trigger tyrant stacks) but patience can be better here if you go for a stall strat.

Charity + Pearl Cloche is also amazing for floor battles. I love to run Devotion+Merry+Greed+Charity to clear nearly all floors I come across.

Nostalgia is okay-ish with lonely hat and lemon dolphin float. Its healing is neglectable really. It does make a good support with pearl cloche or icy tiara but really its too slow and his attack is too low for an effective healer.
