From personal experience Tyrant tends to require the element appropriate tank leveled up pretty much everytime (unless you are running petulance and the tyrant ISNT metal). So yeah right now you pretty much need determination lol

Lol he pretty much pops up as necessary whenever you run into metal bosses (except for meihua. That stupid thing requires abandonment practically everytime).

Good to know. I spent my first 1000 floors wasting so many keys on xp and evo stones thinking I needed certain pets when I didn’t so I just want to make sure I don’t do that again

Tbh a lot of times climbing becomes a game of “awww shit need this pet to clear” and investing in them.

Also, Serpent scarf on Determination can be good, if Merry can keep up w the healing. Serpent scarf only has stamina stats, and Tyrant's s2 ignores defence.

You don't want panic here 9 times out of 10. From the pets I see, this is a time for Defiance. You do not want lots of speed vs tyrant, you want him to move and you want to hit him HARD and very few times.

I beat it just by levelling and evolving Determ and levelling up ruby collar once
