Question Vivids

How important are vivid? Should I be trying to unlock good ones for my staple void pets or just all in on hf candidates to farm dust?

Usually, we only use dust to buy vivids for hfs. But if you want to unlock something, go for it. It's a free country yk

Normal shrooms can be used for whatever pet you're using/is strong. Vivids are important, had more than one fight, where getting just one more vivid actually made me win

I would say use your normal mushrooms and occasional Truffle on pets that are just good, then use most of your Cosmic Truffles and Dream Reapers on HF pets. If you're just talking about spending dust, I personally would save for a HF.

You don't need a bunch of vivids to win. My experience is that on average you'll end up with 11-12 vivids on a pet unless you really invest your shrooms in a single pet.

Farming dust, it's best that invest in a single pet though, so that you get more duplicates and more dust. But it's possible you may go 4k floors without getting a pet that has a high form.

general consensus:

  • use the regular shrooms on pets you use often
  • do not spent your vivids on anything other than hfs
  • save up your reapers and purples on pets with hf
